10/10This lovely little place was recommended by our hotel the first night we arrive. Zakia, MaryCris and the rest of the team took good care of us. Fed us well and treated us like family. The first night I had the best roast chicken with aromatic herb in my life(PS add vegetables)my dinner companion has the Sea bass and it was so delicious. The second time I brought my cousins with me and I was greeted like an old friend. The service again was exceptional, the food was so good we had the cod fish and vegetables for appetizers, my cousin had the gazpacho with the lemon sorbet and was very good. The second course was fish and lamb and again super delicious and cooked to perfection. A little after dinner herbal shot, trust me no indigestion after that. The sorbet and Carmel used rice pudding for dessert. Excellent way to end my trip to the fabulous city of Madrid. Do not miss this place.

10/10A lovely restaurant. Service was kind and attentive. Food delicious. There were four of us. Shared a pitcher of sangria. We had the chicken and vegetable paella (one of the best we’ve ever had), the beef stroganoff, and tempura shrimp. The caramel cheesecake and rice pudding a perfect end! Highly recommend.

4/10The food was very poor quality and extremely expensive. Plus, I asked if they had expresso machine coffee and the owner said yes but instead he gave me instant coffee as if I wouldn’t know. Tourist trap. Don’t be fooled. There are so many good places in Madrid. Never going back!

We had the chicken and the suckling pig, followed by cheesecake with caramel topping and homemade ice cream. We thoroughly enjoyed the food although vegetables were rather lacking. The service was cheerful and attentive. In all highly recommended and we would certainly return.

3/10I live in Madrid and had never been here, I needed a last minute reservation in this neighborhood and this place had great reviews. As soon as we entered we realized this was a tourist place (this neighborhood is touristy but has great places of Madrid standards). Aside from this the service was very dry and rushing us. In terms of food, the scallops were great but that’s about it. The jamón was not actually high quality except for the price and the steak, which the reviews raved about, was tough and flavorless. Again, the quality did not meet the price. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this place nor return again.

8.5/10As a 2 person group I can see they never want to give us a big table. But we were the first guests there. And we were specifically there for pallela which couldn’t be delivered to the table bc we were stuck in the corner and the pan was too big. Ugh. Service was great and the artichoke was amazing. Pallela was just ok.

The vibe of this wonderful restaurant is homey and the wait staff treat you like family. We received a complimentary cod appetizer served alongside crusty bread and olive oil for dipping. The wine by the bottle is reasonably priced. For entree, I had the beef stroganoff. The meat was tender and the portion generous. My husband raved about the roasted chicken with potatoes which was served in a pot. Dessert was a fluffy carmel cheesecake. Last came a delicious Irish coffee. Afterwards, we were treated to free shots of sherry. Perfect! Highly recommend this little gem of a restaurant.

10/10I made a reservation for my birthday and they went above and beyond to make me feel like a princess. The food was incredible! We had the Paella and Pulpo. They gave me a chocolate cake as a gift ????

10/10We returned to La Entretenida for the third time in as many visits to Madrid. We were pleased to be greeted by the same host as in years past. The quality of the food is very, very good. The host provided great guidance on our wine selection. The spinach salad is a real favorite..and it is ample! We also had pate/foie that was excellent. I'm not remembering our entrees as it has now been almost ten days since we dined there. We will certainly return both for the warm hospitality and the food.

8/10Great food but service is pretty poor but on the comical side. Don’t expect professional service but I’d still go back for the food. At one point it felt like Manuel from Monty python was serving us, shouting and throwing arms up, very comical.

10/10This restaurant is conveniently located near the main attractions of Madrid. It ended up being our favorite restaurant during or visit to Madrid due to the food quality. However the service and atmosphere are also excellent. They also have nice wines. The paella was delicious (serves 2) and so plentiful that we couldn’t finish it all. Don’t miss this delicious find.

5/10This place was recommended by Hilton receptionist, but turned out to be a great disappointment, especially compared to other places I later found on my own. Service is very slow, the portions size are rather bizarre which led me to ordering more food that was reasonable (the server could have told me so!). Service was excruciatingly slow, I had to wait for my check for 20 min, at the same time the servers were rushing about almost-empty space, it was rather weird, and practically slammed the dished on one's table (no small talk or asking if everything was to my liking). Food quality was underwhelming, everything overpriced and they added charges for bread and water to the bill (without this being indicated anywhere on the menu or even asking me if I wanted bread)!. Overall verdict - don't waste your time and money at that place, there are so many great options nearby! One doesn't starve in the heart of Madrid and one does not need to break a bank for a decent meal!

10/10Food was great and flavorful… especially the hake, ( San Sabaastian style… ), grilled octopus… The Owner/manager Ricardo made us feel at home and made our dinner memorable… definitely a neighbor gem.
