This restaurant is consistently a great experience. All the service is attentive yet not overwhelming, the white table clothes are ironed and the cutlery and porcelain is impeccable. The food is fabulous and everything is served straight from the kitchen at the right temperature and time. I had a business lunch day before yesterday to which 6 of us attended. We had 3 magret de canard, 2 steaks and a few appetizers and desserts to share, 2 drinks each and 4 coffees and the average came to €40 per person. Insane you can eat that well, with that level of service. Yesterday we had a family event and we were a group of three. We had the tartar and the escargots as our entrees. First of all, forget the common, 6 or 12 escargot, each in their own little indent, we had about 40 escargot. We had a generous, super fresh salmon tartar, a different duck and the steak as well as 2 desserts and a coffee again for €40 per person. The chef comes out as you leave to thank you for visiting. A gem!

Maybe my expectations were too high but I found all of the food I ate to be lack lustre. I had the sea bream, small serve, not a difficult dish to cook but nothing shone. My partner had the Guinea fowl and it tasted so much like chicken we wondered whether they’d made mistake with their poultry. Lastly, we had the thin apple tart with cinnamon ice cream and it was the most disappointing. Tasted like it was days old and the pastry was soft and far from flaky.

overcharging with starters that they brought on the table and giving a false impression they are free (they never said they have to be paid and we did NOT order them), and then they added them on the bill. such a scam....

Food wasn’t bad but service was abhorrent. For me it was the waiter slamming the menu and food down that got me. You could tell he was over his job, didn’t want to be there and put that on us. I’m not one to typically write a scathing review but boy was that bad. It’s a memory of where not to go that we laugh about today so thank you for that

The décor of the restaurant was warm, romantic and cozy. We really enjoyed the fact that the dining area had enough room for intimacy, but not enough for loud, noisy groups. The service was quick, but the younger waiter did not seem to be having a good evening and appeared a bit rushed and annoyed. The senior waiter was nicer and understood the importance of his role in the dining experience. The cuisine was definitely a highlight. It was high quality and expertly prepared. For our 30th wedding anniversary, we wanted a unique dining experience, and each dish was a pleasant surprise.

This was the best meal I have ever had. If I’m ever given a last meal request, it will be at this restaurant. My wife had the Delights Esquina del Real: 3 tournedos of Beef Tenderloin Medallions with our 3 sauces, Green Pepper, Roquefort, and Morels Mushrooms, the meat was tender and flavorful, and the sauces were to die for. I had the Oven-roasted Pheasant with small French onions and Cassis mustard, tender and juicy, and the best sauce I have ever had.

Excellent food and service. The only detail to improve the standard of this restaurant will be to provide a basket of various high level bread. In Madrid we can find excellent French bakeries which can supply very good bread.

If you want to feel like you are in France, I definitely recommend this restaurant. The food is very tasty. the prices are high for Madrid, but we had a discount from this app. Great restaurant!

we have been to this resturant many times before, each visit prices went up, but this time it was totally expensive. They also made a mistake with the main dish of one of us, so I had to eat mine alone till my partner will recieve what he ordered. In general I must say the service is very good. For main dishes around 30 euros could work, but for soup and starters to charge 25-36 euros is too much. We had 30% off and paid at the end for 2 persons 120 euros (so full price would be for couple 165-175 euros).

Great chance to close our yearly strategy planning cycle in a lovely restaurant with great food. Our directors were so impressed with everything: the wines, the food and the atmosphere. Thank you for a lovely evening.
