This Italian restaurant has a very cozy vibes. the ambience was nice, very quiet and romantic. the service was excellent, the waitress was very attentive and polite. The food was okay, not the best that i have eaten, i expect more of it's homemade ravioli. i will recommend the tiramisu but not the cheesecake, too sweet and too heavy in flavors. make sure to reserve a table upstairs if you want a more quiet ambience. 😉

Authentic Italian food and reasonable prices. Wonderful ambiance of a small family run business. It's not the largest restaurant, but not cramped either. We had the boar ragu with papardele and the truffles risotto. Both were incredible. The risotto was al dente and creamy with an abundance of shaved truffles. The boar ragu was with some vegetables and was delicate, tender and light. The sauce and pasta blended seamlessly. Overall a splendid menu with a great wine selection as well. Enjoy!

Refined Italian food, warm welcome, excellent service, cosy and romantic setting. Pricey but fresh ingredients and authentic touch justify the prices. Go for the house specialities rather than the dishes you can find in any other Italian restaurant (example: burrata). The tiramisu is among the best in the world (and I’ve tasted quite a few!) .

Had not been to La Favola for about 15 years and found it again at the suggestion of a friend. Very “ sympathique” atmosphere in this small restaurant located in a charming street in the old city. Very decent, reasonably priced italian dishes . Excellent alternative to the louder, showier Italian restaurants in town .

Given the excellent reviews, I expected better. However, I am demanding: my husband is Tuscan and we are often in Northern Italy - I expected food of the same quality. The wine was excellent.

Extremely expensive even for GVA. Main dish of a small duck leg with a few grilled vegetables hard to chew. Around 50chf!!! Whaaaat?!?! I left the restaurant hungry. Also the place is small and the noise from people talking is terrible. I couldn’t hear my friend on other side of the table. Will never return!

Myself and my flight crew have been here a number of times. Fantastic food. Wonderful service. Can’t recommend the Tortelini Burrata and Panna Cotta enough. Excellent options. The filet of beef is excellent as well. The Pinot noir selection was great as well.

Main course specials were excellent - wild boar papadelle and rack of lamb at 39chf and 63chf, higher than London prices. Starter was not worth the cost. Overall good food, clean surroundings, attentive service but struggled when it was busy. We were seated upstairs via narrow spiral staircase but there was a ground level dining area.

Very intimate homey feeling, we could watch the chef from our table. Staff was very welcoming and the ambiance professional yet warm at the same time. Choice of daily specials was outstanding.
