9.5/10My family and I loved this place. The prices are very reasonable, the food is excellent, and the service was great. The look and feel of the location is almost magical. Everything was so great. They helped us with a couple of small requests, and everything went great. The paella that we had was superb. We had the mixed, which includes shrimp, calamari, sausage, and pork ribs. A little non-traditional, but perfectly suited our tastes. Cheryl and Simon were awesome. They were so nice to work with. A lovely experience.

3.5/10Very disappointing. Arrived around 7:30, not peak time, but still waited 25 minutes for our drink order. They requested we order all at once and food arrived before pre dinner cocktail. We ordered house specialty, seafood paella, which was lacking in taste and seafood. Clearly dishes not made to order and it’s a volume business. So for a nice night out, not a good choice.

4.5/10The setting is nice and prices seemed good value. We ordered the seafood stew. It was presented in a large shallow pan. All of the sea food were in shells which is ok but the amount was only just adequate and far from generous. The gravy was plentiful and really tasty. The main problem was that they gave us flat plates on which to serve it and a knife and fork. So there was no way to soak up that lovely gravy. We had to ask for rice and bread to do so. So the problem was not the food but its presentation. When made suggestions to the manager but it was met with a half hearted apology and indifference. We didn’t get the feeling that anything would change. The place is run with low wage immigrant staff who have no real connection without customers. We were recommended to go hear by our hotel but we were largely disappointed.

10/10I love this place, have eaten many times before. A friend of mine was visiting Barcelona and she had never eaten here. It is always busy. Staff very friendly. Food excellent, as always. I recommend the Zarzuela (seafood stew for 2 people) it was delicious!

8.5/10We've visited this restaurant many times and it never disappoints. There is always a wide choice on the daily menu and the food is good quality. The service is excellent - this time we had 3 kids and 2 prams but the waiters took it all in there stride moving chairs and bringing crayons and paper for them to amuse themselves. I think you will find it hard to find a better place to eat at this price in the centre of Barcelona.

8.5/10A popular restaurant close to La Rambla serving quality seafood, Spanish as well as some contemporary dishes. The seafood items are very well done and well presented especially the octopus, muscles and cod with a good wine selection. The chicken left a little to be desired with just a simple sauce and chicken for a main-course. When it gets really busy on the weekend the service gets a little rough and food takes longer than would be expected, and expect to be turned away if you don't have a reservation. Still, overall a very worthwhile visit!

7.5/10Ambience: The restaurant is nicely decorated. It has two floors but the upper one is not as nice as the lower one. It offered no music and the tables were a bit close to each other. Food: All dishes were quite good except the coca bread which was the worst i have ever tasted in spain. It was certainly not fresh. Service: I really did not appreciate the service i got. The waiter who served me was not polite and offended me. Overall: Everything was okay except the service. The dinner was quite good if you take price into account.

3.5/10Our first experience of arriving at the restaurant was being told to get out. No welcome, just that they had a few people arriving at once so chose to be rude. The food was OK, cod main was overcooked bit their attitude to service is shockingly bad. Will never return.

7.5/10We were here on Saturday around 9 p.m. and there was a lot of people. There was noisy and the service was in the hurry , has limited time and you could feel it. The food was really good but we found inside the fish the paper towel - it finished our meal in fact :/ The bill was discounted by this one meal price by the restaurant decision without any pressure from our side. In general - I would try this restaurant but on less busy day.

4/10The restaurant was very nice, good atmosphere. The service was slow and waiters weren’t the friendliest. The paella was really disappointing, it was dry and flavourless and the prawns and muscles were so dehydrated there wasn’t any to actually eat. Overall had a pretty poor experience their and would not return or recommend.
