7/10Very good place, very good service, but unfortunately, the food is not at the same level. Except the linguine vongole which was very very good, all the other meals we ordered : the rolled sea bass, the macaroni al ragu, and the salmon were quite average

6/10Asked twice for a side dish that was confirmed though never provided. Billed it was, so requested to change the bill. The desert banana split was a laughter. Serious,you should be ashamed. Nice location but service and food need to be improved certainly for the price asked

10/10This small restaurant was a delightful find! The staff are incredibly welcoming, and the service is excellent. Food was delicious!! I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the dish presentation and the Mediterranean ambiance. We will definitely be returning.

10/10Lovely atmosphere, great view of the water from Murano, and the meal and wine were fabulous. We had a tough first day in Venice as our bags were lost after a long day of travels. The waiter found out and made our day much better by giving us some Murano glass decorative pieces to take with us to cheer us up! What great service! The dinner and service was top notch and we highly recommend this restaurant!

10/10The restaurant is located on a canal in the end of one of the Murano islands. It has a great view towards Venice, San Michele island and in the lagoon. Even during the night, were the visibility is not the best, you can feel the vibe as the lighted Murano canal on the side offers a great atmosphere. The food was excellent in all aspects: taste, portions, ideas! Also, the atmosphere and the service was perfect. We visited La Fornace twice during our trip and we were amazed both times. We ordered the venetian risoto, the octopus with potato puree and the black gnocchi with scallops, accompanied with a glass of a Pinot Grigiot which was served in perfect temperature. In general we were very happy with our choice to visit La Fornace Restaurant and will absolutely recomend it to anyone who wish to find a vfm restaurant in the area! Keep up the good work and we hope to see you again soon.

10/10An absolutely delightful evening - wonderful service: attentive without being underfoot; friendly and helpful recommending food, and the food was fabulous - fresh and beautifully presented. It was too dark to see the view to Venice, but given the location it would be wonderful in daylight.

10/10We had lunch on their outdoor patio overlooking the lagoon and it could not have been more perfect. From the spritz and cantaloupe and melon to squid-ink pasta, salmon tartare and pesto, everything was delicious. I am gluten and dairy free and they were wonderfully accommodating with my food. They had gluten-free pasta and they also brought me a gluten free roll while my mom and sister had their house bread. As amazing as the food was, the service was even better. Super friendly, helpful and warm. Attentive but not in your face. I wish this wasn’t the last day of our vacation or we would have returned. They even brought us limoncello to cap off our perfect experience. Thank you so much!!

9/10The staff were the highlight! Great service with humour and warmth. The setting was also lovely on the water and we did enjoy. Kids had tagliata which was very good indeed. Pasta vongole was average. The salmon tartare was very nice and fresh.

8.5/10Lovely restaurant with a beautiful terrace right on the lagoon with fabulous views of Venice. Seafood dominated, but we had some beautiful fish. Reasonably priced by Venice standards (nothing is cheap here). €60 per head for a good quality course meal with good service. Would definitely go again.

10/10The food was so fresh and delicious. My kids were able to get spaghetti with butter. The panna cotta was the best dessert I’ve ever had. Pasta was fresh. Wine was delicious and it was so reasonably priced. A 5 min ferry ride de Venice and amazing views!
