4.5/10The food was fairly nice as we needed. Except the male staff there was a bit pushy to ask as to order more even we had ordered 2 main dishes for 2 of us. His attitude to ask us to order more made us felt comfortable. Then we ordered one more side dish to kind of solve to discomfort of his expectation. We were really not that hungry at night, but we didn't want to miss a night of chance trying some Italian food. His attitude made us as tourists feel that we didn't know the local culture and we should have ordered the full course on the menu. The way he looked at us made us feel uncomfortable. The experience was not nice at all. We were in different cities in Italy for more than 10 days and went to many restaurants, but None of the restaurants made us feel so uncomfortable in that way. The restaurant was recommended by our hotel owner. It’s okay businesses help each other, but they should provide good service for customers even tourists.

10/10A warm welcome by the staff. Our dinner was delicious. The atmosphere was welcoming and we felt like we were at someone’s home getting a home cooked meal. Absolutely fabulous. Don’t miss the squash blossoms!!

2/10This restaurant was the worst place I’ve ever been to. We arrived at the time of our reservation and were told the restaurant was fully booked. We told them we had a reservation. The hostess immediately went to the back to talk to the manager. The manager came out saying there was an issue with the computer system and that our reservation was cancelled (They came back speaking Italian—even though they spoke English when we first got there—which I can understand but can’t speak). We asked if they could place us in the empty tables, but they apparently were reserved. At no point did they ask us or did we tell them the name of the reservation. How could they know our reservation wasn’t booked without knowing the name of the reservation? How could the waitress forget how to speak English in 3 minutes? This restaurant is so unprofessional and unprincipled.

9/10We had a lovely meal here on our last night in Rome. I had the Maltagliati with truffle and bacon and it was absolutely delicious. There was construction works outside on the street, but we were seated downstairs and it was a lovely dining area. The staff were lovely. Would definitely recommend.

10/10We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant in Rome. The food was absolutely delicious — especially the pasta, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The menu featured a great selection of authentic Roman dishes, including tripe, artichoke, and chicory, giving us a true taste of local cuisine. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and portions. The wait staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Their warm service and attention to detail really enhanced the overall experience. In fact, we loved it so much that we went back for a second time during our trip! If you are looking for an authentic Roman hosteria this is the place! Frequented by locals so you know it’s good. The decor is simple and rustic but the food is out of this world. I would recommend.

2.5/10We arrived and was placed at a table up against the wall. I felt like I was in my grandmas kitchen. There was no room to move. I was looking at the service items while my husband was in a corner next to a brick chimney. There were maybe 5 tables total. I asked the waitress, is this all the tables? She said yes I asked is there a downstairs and she said it’s just the kitchen down there!. We expected to have an experience but were thrown off with the atmosphere. I did here music and a bunch noice down the stairs so I went exploring. Come to find out, there must be another door for the locals to enter and experience the live music. I asked why we were not set down here and was told they could move us but we had already received our food. (Which was horrible. The food was under cooked) I went back up stairs and ansked for our bill and left. Total time there was maybe 30 minutes. I felt that I had reserved a table for 2 through Fork and was treated like a guest not welcome to the party

10/10We LOVED this place- in our top two to three places we ate throughout Rome and Florence. Such great food and kind staff with such an inviting and fun atmosphere. The server even offered my sister stain remover for the sauce she got on her dress. We are coming back next time we visit Rome!

10/10My wife and I died here on a recommendation by the hotel. The appetizer, pasta and main meat courses all had well executed sauces that brought the whole dish together. This chef knows the nuances of Italian cuisine. Excellent!!

10/10Very nice. Not touristy. Excellent pasta, friendly service, fair prices. Came back after one week and was greeted like a regular. You can order a pasta dish as a mezza porzione if you want it as a starter. Excellent because secondi piatti are also well worth a taste.
