9/10Very lovely place and food. Service was super nice by the owner (I guess) and colleague. Only food we thought was ok, it's the sweet potato salad. The broccoli and the ribs were super!

10/10We were in Barcelona celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and we happened to find La Frugal in an internet search. It was a short walk from our hotel, Hotel Seventy. When you arrive, it is a cute little place. We had a reservation (we highly recommend) and warmly greeted and seated. Danny is the bartender and was also our server that night. He took great care of us! He answered our questions about the menu and helped us make the perfect selections that were anniversary trip worthy. The chef even came out and spoke to us. Just incredible hospitality!! Our food was excellent. At the end, Danny brought us some complimentary drinks to celebrate our anniversary. He is truly a craftsman and artist with the cocktails. He is a super nice person and made sure we had an experience we would not forget. We highly recommend La Frugal!!
