La Fugascina is a true delight—just two Pink Floyd songs from Aosta, set beautifully on the serene shores of Lago di Mergozzo. The food was fabulous, with each dish thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. Service was attentive and welcoming, and the wine list offered an impressive selection of high-quality bottles to match the meal. A wonderful dining experience in a stunning setting—absolutely worth the short drive.

Me and my fiance came for a quick lunch by the lake mergozzo, and i am very glad we did! We had the fritta platter for the starter, those are fresh little fishes from the lake maggiorre! We then had the risotto- very delicious cooked perfectly. And we shared the fish of the day to end the meal, it was with some olives and bean puree. Everything was perfect including the lovely lady’s service. Grazie!

Lovely place, with a big terrace facing the lake, probably making it a very popular restaurant to begin with. We were there off-season, on a weekday, and had a nice quiet evening outside, with a great atmosphere. Inside looked great too. Staff was welcoming and really friendly, easily adjusting to our very basic Italian language skills. They have an English menu too. We had several dishes and desert, showing a nice variety of options. Extensive choice of wines too, although not many come by the glass. At this slightly elevated price level I might have expected some more creativity in presentation of the food, and in the diversity of flavors, but overall it was still a great experience.

First it was not easy to find the restaurant because the name is not at the front. And about the food it was very poor not tasty Like somebody took plain spaghetti put a lot of soya sauce and that is all .the shrimp promised we need a monocle to find them. is that a chef’s cooking I wander ?….we were the only people at the restaurant. And even though we waited long time to get the food . That was far away from the menu and pictures promised o the net. I was really disappointed .

We loved this restaurant- a perfect lunch for 3, love that all the food is locally sourced, portions are perfect size and imaginative- will definitely go back.

Nice location with lake view, on the town square. Very friendly,quick and quality service. The dishes where nicely styled and tasted excellent. Menu selection is small (as expected with quality dishes), but there is a variety of fish, meat and some vegetarian in the courses. Prices are a bit above average in the region, but if you value quality its well worth it.

It was the first time for me in this place, but for sure it won't be the last one! Great food! beautiful location, and, most important for me, excellent service! Thanks to everyone!
