We were very satisfied with our food - we ordered seafood paella, few tapas and Catalan cream for a desert. For a drinking cava sangria was also very good. It was our first meal in Barcelona and I think it was a good start 🙂

We went with a 50% the fork promotion, the place was quiet when we arrived, were quickly seated! Starters were pretty good, and the paella was tasty but definitely not the best I’ve had. Overall very good value because of the 50%, but if we’d paid full price I would have found the value vs quality/service to be too much.

Always lovely service here, with a small menu, but delicious food. Had the Mussels and Calamari for starters, followed by Salmon with vegetables and Steak with shallots & potato puree. All was good quality, but the steak hadn't rested enough as there was alot of blood on the plate, besides that it was a very good cut of beef. Thank you😎

Very lovely lunch before flying home. The paella was freshly cooked and was not burnt as we have experienced in other restaurants. Good wine recommendation from the waiter who was very competent and friendly. Overall very good

Our experience at La Gambeta Restaurant was just great. The waiter, Luca, was extremely nice and was very welcoming. Food was top quality, I could definitely tell that this restaurant wasn’t just average. I was in Barcelona with my partner and a friend, we ordered some starters, a main and the dessert and they offered us a shot each of a traditional drink in Barcelona. The evening was just perfect, the atmosphere was lovely and we were very happy with everything. 5 stars for me!!

They were really nice with us. We were quite a lot of us (9) and even though we requested a table on the terrace, by the time of out booking it got quite cold outside and they quickly accommodated us inside. Everyone loved their paelIa. I was the only one speaking Spanish, the rest of the spoke only English, but there was no issue at all. Very nice staff and good food.

The food was so good, we took the black paella and it was the best. The service was a bit lacking, they were nice but the waiter didn't know the ingredients, 2 of us had to ask for a fork that wasn't at the table and they served a whole group of people that arrived after us because it seemed they where friends or something. otherwise the atmosphere was good and the food totally worth it.

We were a little disappointed that the Paella marinera and the arroz dish with calamares tasted practically the same. We also were not very impressed by the presentation of one of the oysters - it looked a bit hacked. The flavour of the rice dishes was a bit bland. However we had a great waiter from Chilli who did his best to keep us happy! having said that we are all chefs ourselves and so are probably more critical than most. I would also like to have seen the paella with crispy bits.

What a place! We started off with fried baby calamari, then a variation homemade croquettes. Then the main affair, Seafood Paella for two! The best Seafood Paella! There's Paella and then there's their Paella! Yummmm! Definitely recommend this place!

Service was good, food was average. We had tapas (pan, chiporones and croquetas) and paella for 3 and it was ok nothing exceptional. i have tasted better paella (and they forgot to bring us the swipe for the hands but it is ok) they were very nice so we had in overall a good experience! The wine was good!
