8.5/10Excellent service and mostly enjoyable meal. Dessert of cheesecake and creme catalan not the greatest. Had the salt baked sea bass but my wife found about 6 large bones. May sound like a complaint but overall a very pleasurable experience.

10/10We had 2 fantastic meals at La Gambetta during our trip. The service was excellent - staff so cheerful and friendly but very efficient. Seafood Paella, Anchovies, Octopus rice and the Calamari were particular highlights. Sangria de Cava was tasty too. We will be back on our next trip - thank you for your hospitality.

9/10We ate at this restaurant several times. We brought new friends every time. We have never been disappointed with the food (especially compared to other restaurants in Barcelona). The seafood paella was definitely the best we ate in this city. Other dishes also very good. The only problem we had was with the Sangria we ordered once. We were told that it would be 1L, but the jug was barely enough to fill the 4 glasses at the bottom. Why? Because instead of sangria, the jug contained half a kilo of ice... so extreme that it simply looked like ripping off the customer. Especially at the price of €22. Knowing Sangria from other restaurants, also with a capacity of 1L (enough for 6 normal glasses) and for €12, we know that the version from this restaurant is definitely bad. We do not recommend ordering this. Take wine instead. It will be tastier, cheaper and more ;-) Apart from that, the place is definitely worth recommending.

9/10A very positive culinary surprise. We didn't expect anything special after analyzing the ratings of previous guests. We ate a very good Paella with seafood and fried cod as an appetizer. Both dishes were delicious and exceeded our expectations. The service was quick and the location of the restaurant was convenient. A place worth recommending.

6/10Food is average, nothing special. Not a big choice in the menu. Staff was nice, helpful, but forgot about dishes and we waited for the bill more then 20 min. Ok to go, but without discount it will be overpriced as well.

9.5/10We could't ask more for a date night. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. The people that worked in the restaurant was kind and took special care of us. Further more the food was delicious and fresh. We hope to come back as soon as possibile.

10/10Outside the ace has just a couple little tables so you wouldn't give to it too much credit. However, inside you will be at floor -1 (I suspect it was the cellar) refurbished and restored very well. The place is really nice. The food even better, from starters up to paella that was probably the best I had in my many trips to Barcelona. Portions are not abundant, but just the right amount. Vine was excellent and people serving were very kind and helpful. Top marks for me.

8.5/10Nice little restaurant, just in front to the Born Cultural Centre Building. The service is ready and very kind. We only tried several Tapas: all of them fine and tasty Actually the Sangria wasn't amazing as I would have expected, but... ok for the dinner. In general, good experience. Little expesive (not super, just a little), but thanks to Fork's discount, more than reasonable price. We'll be back next time for more dishes
