Three friends that gathered to celebrate a birthday dinner and experience was nice in all aspects, food quality, very nice service and appropriate pricing. We’ll come back.

Even though the rating for this restaurant was not so very good, we were very satisfied with the restaurant. The menu had not only the standard Spanish dishes but also other very interesting dishes, also with lots of vegetables. Unfortunately, there were no wines by the glass, but the bottles offered were very good.

Expected better. They added 10% service fee without any questions. This was the only restaurant in Madrid which did it during our five day stay. Our son (14) had a hamburger which was pretty dry experience as he explained. My entrecote was basically fine but too much lard. Salmon tacos were average. Luckily we had -30% due reserving through the Fork. Otherwise this would have been most expensive restaurant of our stay in Madrid.

Quite good. For our anniversary we have eaten great in a good atmosphere and for a reasonable price. Steak tartare and codfish as main course, cecina and grilled vegetables for starter. Really good all of them Deserts, cheesecake and brownie . Everything gluten free because of my wife and everything amazing except cheesecake what is was very good also but no gluten free

I didn't realize this restaurant had an American theme. A lot of the food had American sources. They did generally cook everything with a Spanish twist, however, so Inhad no problem finding 2dishes which I liked.

Very nice place, friendly staff. The food was good - very well cooked and nicely served. They also have a special offer for a 3 courses dinner for just €27.95. After 2 starters - carpachoo and Russian salad, and two main courses - scallops and chicken breast that were both perfectly cooked, we were so full that we shared the chocolate brownee with pistachio ice cream that was also very good. The location of the restaurant is also perfect - just a few min walk from the Retiro Park entrance. We definitely recommend this place.

Nothing special. Small portions, not very creative and extremely pricy. 100 euros for 2 burgers, a plate with a couple of fish wraps, an ice cream and a brownie, two beers and a bottle of water.

Thank you for your feedback. We were surprised to hear you found our portion to be small we are known to have generous portions and our hamburgers are one of the largest in Madrid. It is not clear if you are referring to our fish Tacos (fish wraps) or maybe the lobster lasagna that you also had. Our prices are in accordance with the high quality of products that we believe in. There is always an owner present and we are more than happy to exchange any dish that is not to your liking. We hope to have you once again in La Gamella in hopes to change your opinion.
