Short menu but well cooked. Good ambience and service fine if a little slow.

The open crepe with mushrooms was great, but the steaks were overcooked, the rare was medium and the medium was almost well done. The service was slow, and we had to argue long to pay separately, they blamed the fork, and the discount. Finally they just split the bil in equal amounts, so some overpayed...

Third time to eat at this restaurant. Jador La Gare! I love it. Wonderful Ambiance. Excellent food. Impeccable service. Great wine! We will return to Stockholm with some friends in June and La Gare will be our first stop. And fair prices! Loved it Again!!!

Very friendly staff... Easy to find as its a central locational. Menu wasn't extensive but OK. Had an issue with my main which was quickly dealt with. Steak was good, as we're the greens. But the food quality lacked flare. The coffee was not good but that's a subjective opinion. Apple tart was lovely.

We wanted a French dinner and booked LEGARE near Stockholm Central Station. It's me and my daughter. My daughter is underage and cannot drink alcoholic beverages. Also she didn't know what non-alcoholic drinks were. The staff at this restaurant kindly showed her all the non-alcoholic beverage bottles. She felt comfortable ordering drinks. We ordered the onion soup and the sirloin steak plate. Dessert after dinner is creme brulee. All tasted great. Especially the onion soup was wonderfully delicious for us Japanese. We hope to eat there again when we travel to Stockholm.

The service was very unexperienced, however friendly. The food was on a completely other level so I do hope they learn fast to keep up with the kitchen. Will be back!

We took a risk of trying this restaurant next to the central station in Stockholm. (21 October - 18:30h) I took the steak. They didn’t serve the advertised salad with Dijon mustard, and the fries served came cold. When the new fries were served I had finished the steak. Even though the meat itself was ok, it was not a pleasant experience. It took also about 30min before they cleared out the starter. Service not really good in general.

The food is fantastic, beef was perfect medium rare and the sauce ,, service is excellent .. higly recommended. Place is just in the heart of the city , easy to find.

Delicious food, from the tempura vegetables with aioli, perfectly cooked medium rare streak frites, and chocolate fondant. Reasonable drink prices too which do not often see in a French restaurant in Stockholm. The 50% off Fork discount made it really good value. Waiters could have been a bit more attentive as had to flag them down several times. But overall a great experience and we will return,

The food was good but the service was terrible. I told the server that I was allergic and he still brought in the wrong food. The place was almost empty so it wasn't due to stress. There were only 3 tables wirh 2 people each that they were serving. When I asked for the bill they did bot get back to us within 30 minutes. Finally when we got up to leave they attended us. But they gave us the wrong total on our bill and tried to overcharge us. The food was good, but the experience was terrible.

Everything about La Gare is mediocre - by Swedish standards. I’m France a place like this couldn’t survive.

When we arrived we were told that it was “chaos” in the kitchen, and we had to wait half an hour for our food. We got the steak served without the fries that only came 15 min later. Once we got the food it was tasty but a bit cold. We made another attempt to order dessert, but it was very hard to get hold on any waiter, they seemed very understaffed. Again we were told that it was chaos in the kitchen due to new chefs so we had to wait for a while for our dessert. We asked for free coffee due to the delay, which we eventually got. When paying we didn’t get 50% which we had booked through the Fork, something that we eventually had to argue about and show our booking. Not a great experience, but I’m sure with a better customer service and chefs the food would be better and the experience more satisfying.

The food is delicious, and came out quickly which was nice. But the service was bad, our waiter was very sweet but had no clue at all what he was doing and he was given no help at all by his colleagues. There was also no bartender so the drinks options were very limited. The worst part was that the manager just ran around and kept telling us she would get stuff for us, like the second round of drinks we ordered with her, a new knife, some more sauce etc etc. But it was like she forgot 2 seconds later and we kept having to ask her, eventually we stopped and asked the other waiters instead as she seemed too busy to care about us. I loved the food and would go back if there were different staff.

Excellent Entrecôte frites and nice ambiance! Reminds me of my visits in Paris! Don’t miss out to order a Cafe Gourmand as an icing on the cake….

Dropped in for a lunch with a couple of friends as I have stayed at their hotel before. We were very pleased with food and service and a come back is must. Sooner than later.
