Our best meal in Italy. They made us feel like family and made great suggestions about the menu. Also, the balsamic vinegar was nothing short of amazing.

What a wonderful last dinner in Italy. We felt so welcome here, and the food was incredibly delicious and memorable. We first enjoyed a “typical appetizer of Modena” with fried gnocchi, Parmesan cheese and balsamic vinegar that had been aged since the 1970, along with some amazing involtini. Then a pasta course - both of us had gnocchi, my wife with pistachio pesto, I with a Bolognese rage. Delicious. All paired with a bottle of reasonably priced Sangiovese. Desserts were tasty too. But what made the meal one of our most enjoyable in Italy was the genuine warmth of the proprietors - they take real pride in their food and checked to make sure we were enjoying it and enjoying ourselves, which we were. One of the cutest movements was when we noticed the chef peaking out from the kitchen to see how we were enjoying the meal and she and my wife shared a glance. Just a fantastic spot that we will remember for a long time.

This restaurant was a real find ! Wonderful, attentive service. The food was delicious, high quality, and beautifully presented. The Gnocchi was the best I have tasted. They also have an extensive wine list.

What a great find! The food was delicious and the service was friendly. So glad we were able to enjoy our final meal in Italy at this gem! The gnocco fritto were awesome!

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! Catarina is a fantastic and gracious hostess and the food is incredible. It’s the only place we ate at twice during four weeks in Italy. All the food is wonderful, but definitely try the Taglieri Completi, it’s a perfect first course for two to three people.
