- What did you like the most: -The location, ambience, and overall setting were exceptional, especially with the historical and prestigious character associated with the venue. The meal itself was also of a very high standard and thoroughly enjoyable. -The ambiance and the food, customer service was also excellent -The restaurant had someone who could communicate in English. It helps. What would you recommend improving: -It would be beneficial for the restaurant to offer more flexibility in accepting different currencies from customers. This is a location with several tourist should be open to accepting some standard currencies (eg USD)

The cuisine is really amazing, traditional French dishes with a Michelin star twist, best sauces ever.

La Grande Cascade is a restaurant I like to visit whenever I go to Paris—and I’ve been doing so for years. This time, as always, we ate well, and the service was courteous and efficient, as it has consistently been. However, it was not the best meal we had in the city and did not quite delight us as it had on previous visits. I also missed the cheese trolley at the end of the dinner. I’m not sure whether it has been retired or if it simply wasn’t offered to us.

Good place with romantic view. Unfortunately, our meals was not as tasty our bill was expensive.

Surprised this has a Michelin star. The food wasn’t exciting. They were incredibly slow despite being almost empty. Not worth the price either.

It was terrible. Insects landed on the dishes, and the waiters made no attempt to remove them. When one insect got into a glass of wine, the waiter took it out and suggested that we continue drinking it. A piece of cheese was brought as a separate dish, for which we waited for about an hour. This restaurant has Michelin stars, from which I can conclude that Michelin has terrible taste. I spent about 500 euros on dinner. No self-respecting restaurant in the world or in Russia, where I come from, would allow itself to serve its customers like that. I have been to many restaurants in many EU countries, but this was the worst of all. What upset me most was that I proposed to my girlfriend that day, and this restaurant literally ruined the entire impression of this day, which happens only once in a lifetime! Horrible, disgusting, I do not recommend it, even if you are dying of hunger.

From the moment we arrived, the entire staff worked tirelessly to make it an experience to remember. The food was creative and unique, and most of all uniformly delicious. Service was impeccable. The setting is gorgeous. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the entire evening.

The food and service were impeccable. Amazing bread. We felt very taken care of. We were not rushed at all. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

They substituted items from one fixed menu to another to accommodate our preferences and made our day truly special. Service was formal yet friendly. Everything was prepared to satisfy the palate as well as the eye.

It is a restaurant recomended by the Michelin Guide. The expectations were high, and the restaurant staff, chefs and everyone envolved delivered. Food was fantastic, service was unforgettable.

+2As a tourist traveling to Paris, we have tried serval restaurants to try the French cuisine. For a Michelin star restaurant. I think it is quite disappointing, the lobster is amazing, other than that like the mushrooms garnish felt like soap in vinegar for a very long time and we just don’t get it For this price point and a Michelin star restaurant I’m expecting more since I have a much better experience in Le Violon D’Ingres

Impeccable service and the most delicious food ever.

After previously visiting six other Michelin Star restaurants in Paris, I have to say that this one has lost its game. Whilst the atmosphere is, by nature, beautiful due to the patio and gardens it’s situated in, the quality of the food is sub par. Maybe it was an “off” day, but the menu was bland and lacked creativity. Not sure what happened, but this was my last meal before flying back home and it truly lacked. I hope others have a better experience.

+3It was a truly unforgettable experience of our romantic dinner in Paris. We were the first guests to come and to our big surprise found ourselves the last to leave! Time just disappeared. Food was end to end perfectly balanced, delicious, elegant, talented. Team is professional, authentic, welcoming. We felt immersed in delicious sensations of food, mood and hospitality. We will be back again!

+1I went last week with my family. The atmosphere was good, the service fast, but the dishes are too expensive for what it was.

Even though the room was empty at night when the temperature was dropping, I was made to sit outside and not allowed inside. The food came out very slowly, taking almost four hours, and after the snacks were served, the last drink never came out, so I had to cut it off halfway and go home because I couldn't stand the cold. The taste was delicious, but halfway through I was worried about the cold and insects and couldn't concentrate on cooking. The staff's personality and service were good, but the price was high for the content and it was very boring.

Great experience. 6 courses menu was amazing.

Food was good. Service was a bit haphazard. They didn’t really cater the menus for vegans

+2$500 meal that didn’t even come close to Michelin quality. The flavors in each course either didn’t work well together or was missing a vital component (e.g. lack of acidity to cut through a very savory dish). When we arrived, they poured us each a glass of champagne which we thought was complimentary. But when the bill came, we realized it wasn’t. Seems kind of misleading to force a glass of champagne like that. They did the same thing with espresso at the and of the meal. At other Michelin 1-stars, they offered many complimentary snacks/drinks that were part of the large per person price (e.g. Contraste). For $205 per person, this was by far the most disappointing meal in my lifetime.

A beautiful restaurant, excellent food and service. I didn’t realize dining was outside and given how warm it was, it was a bit uncomfortable but otherwise a delightful experience
