10/10Our family is staying in a nearby Villa for a couple weeks and this “once in a lifetime” experience has been greatly enhanced by enjoying dinner at La Grotta di Fulignano on three different occasions. The food, wine and service were top notch and the ambiance and views are incredible! We’re grateful to have had their place as a “go to venue” on this trip.

10/10The food was superb and the views outstanding. However what really makes the difference in this post-pandemic age when the art of service seems to have almost totally disappeared was the wonderful welcome and all-round excellent service from the staff. What an absolutely lovely experience! We would recommend this venue to anyone wanting a fabulous meal in stunning surroundings whilst on holiday in Tuscany.

10/10Wonderful restaurant in the middle of the Chianti wine country,. A bit hard to find, but once there, the food and service were amazing! Highly recommend the Bistecca Fiorentina, probably among the best steaks I have ever had!

10/10We booked this little gem as we were visiting San Gimignano late afternoon and this restaurant gave us an amazing view not too far away. Off the beaten track but we weren’t disappointed. Definitely worth it.

10/10Traveling down a gravel road to the restaurant set the stage for a memorable evening with beautiful views of San Gimignano, the vineyards and the sunset. The food was wonderful with regional flavors with a unique twist. Service was great.

10/10It is a beautiful drive in on a twisting, dirt road. We had a table for 6 on the veranda overlooking the valley. Our waiter recommended a delicious local white wine to go with lunch, the Tortelini and Pici pasta were both excellent and the views were to die for. A great meal all around.

10/10Words can’t really describe how wonderful our evening was. Ambiance was charming and romantic. Service was attentive and the food was the best I’ve had in Italy in a long time. Not the usual touristic garbage but delicately seasoned, beautifully presented dishes. Make the effort to get there, it is well worth it.

10/10Well worth the scenic ride from San Gimignano, stunning vineyards and olive groves surrounding the restaurant. Dined on a terrace over looking the Tuscan hills and watched the sun down. The service was both friendly and impeccable. Great knowledge of the wine list and recommendation of the rose and house Chianti. My partner and I thought the food was amazing, we will be returning to this 5 star restaurant.

10/10We used trip advisor to locate a restaurant near where we were staying. The drive to the restaurant was beautiful. The restaurant is well worth the drive. The staff were extremely welcoming. The food was outstanding and price very good. We start with the warm pastry with pine sauce and truffle then risotto with saffron and then rabbit loin. We shared all the dishes. They are perfect to share if you are a light eater. We left feeling perfect not stuffed and not hungry. The wine was also great. Has to be one of the best dining experience so far. We are in week 2 of a 5 week Italy only trip. We enjoyed our meal and the location and truly appreciated how welcoming the staff were.

6.5/10To be honest: I can be short. The staff was nice to us. The food was OK but definitely not special. We did have way better during our Tuscany trip (look up other reviews of me mmds1971). One of the dishes seemed to be heated in a microwave as the inside was still cold. The view was good overlooking the area and San Gimignano from a distance. As it is quite a drive from San Gimignano (on a dusty road) and the food was not special I would not go again. especially as the prices are on the high side for what was deivered
