9/10Our server, Marica, was great. The food was tasty for the most part although one person in our group had to send her food back so it could be cooked as she had ordered it and to her liking. We had the tuna tartar, hamburger, and lamb chops.

9/10Excelent meet & bistecca, pasta, rocket salad, and desserts. The bistecca alla fiorentina is really good, tastefull and tender. Spaghetti ao pesto is also really nice. Prices are worth for the quality.

10/10Everything was delicious and well priced. Attentive service. We had the Tuscan salami &crostini appetizer, spaghetti carbonara, ravioli with butter and sage, torta del nonno and pistacchio semifreddo. Buonissimo!

But no issues at all from great service to excellent food and not forgetting a nice discount, all added up to an great time, well done.

2/10I ordered T-bone steak. But I got only one side (I think it was sirloin) of the steak. I asked the server that I thought this steak wasn’t T-bone because tenderloin was missing. But he kept saying this thing was the very same thing with T-bone steak. Anyway, we started eating the dishes but the steak was terrified. I even can’t chew some part of the steak. I was really excited to have that famous Firenze T-bone steak but this experience remained as one of the worst experiences related with food. And rest of the days at Firenze, we never give a try to have another T-bone steak. Thanks for nothing.

7/10Steak and wine good but burger bun still cold and half frozen - would have thought they would use fresh bread. Burger itself tasty. Service okay - quite reasonably priced but to be honest quite average.

10/10La Grotta Guelfa is a perfect dinner spot for couples enjoying a weekend in Florence. The staff provided impeccable service and went above and beyond to make my dining experience special. Additionally, they have well priced, delicious wine and are close to many of the cities top attractions. I highly recommend!

6.5/10We had lunch there. Although the food was very delicious, the environment was terrible. They told us that we could only sit outside and the inside was closed after noon since inside and outside. So, we sit outside in the super hot weather without any fans. So, I would not recommend going there at lunch time.

7.5/10The waiters were all very nice but the lady who seemed to be the manager or owner constantly ignored us and put on a serious face while she treated other white customers with smiles and laughters. We waited very long to order because she refused to see our raising hands and hear our “excuse me” (but she came anyway after that so she did hear but never responded, leaving us awkward). I don’t understand why do we even pay service fees for her. The food was okay, not excellent. Indoor space is close for dinner and dining outside was very hot.
