We are 4 women who had lunch recently at La Lanterna LVM. This lunch was to check out the restaurant as a possible venue for a future lunch, for 16 expat women. While the food was acceptable, the staff (an old man) who took our orders was not. We dont expect him to be overly nice but he could have been more approachable. He was surly & unfriendly. He came to us grudgingly, only when we asked for the menu, the winelist & then to order. He didnt offer service, we asked for service. So, while we like the food, possibly we can't go back again, with our expat group.

This restaurant was fab! The food was so fresh and tasted super authentic went for my partners birthday meal. It may seem pricey but is worth every single penny !!!!

Very nice place, with a friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. Food is very tasty, and the extra touch here is the moment when the loud(er) music starts and the waiter goes around and dances with some of the guests. Limonciello as a present before we left was also a very nice surprise. We had a good dinner and left the restaurant very happy and satisfied.

The quality of the dishes, really good. Smiling waiters. Very pleasant lighting.

Very fun family-run Italian restaurant Very friendly and always uplifting Food was nice. Pasta would have been better Al-dente- will ask specifically next time. Would like to return!

Super service and super food. Personal in a great way. This will be our favourite resto the coming months and so is the pasta parmiggiano!

Amazing atmosphere and food as always. A wonderful restraint for an evening meal out! The waiters are friendly and charming and the food is always amazing.

The first time at this La Laterna restuarant after always been at the Javastraat one. We were not disappointed; certianly a well decorated restuarant. The service was as always with La Laterna staff..excellent...great Italian humour. The food (we didn't take Pizza) was good..nice choice and well cooked. The wine (Primitivo) was a good choice and nicely priced at 5euros a glass. We will be back.

Please, play some Italian music in the background! Italian music is beautiful, and it works well with the food, wine and ambience. Everything else, 10/10.

This was the second time to the LVM location of La Lanterna. Previously, we had the full meal (app, main, desert), and it was wonderful. This time, we just had pizza--mafiosa and borromeo. I was served very quickly, piping hot, and delicious. The mafiosa could have done with another minute in the oven, since it has more wet ingredients in the centre, but that must have been just the visual as there was nothing left uneaten! Overall, savoury and satisfying.

Great food, great staff - friendly and sorted a new pizza without chilli flakes, nice atmosphere, relaxed ambience. Would definitely go back again.

My husband and I enjoyed our dinner: La Lanterna is a cosy blace and they do understand food. The only blemish was the service: we felt a bit invisible.. However, the stuff was kind and the Italian boss was simply hillarious!
