7/10This lovely restaurant t was recommended by a friend d who had lived in Siracusa. The restaurant t espouses the slow food movement, and all Food is sourced locally and very fresh. The room was nice, and it was quite busy. The appetizer course and Pasta were excellent but the recommended fish (amberjack in lemon sauce) was very dry and overcooked. Otherwise we would Have given 4 stars overall. The servers were very friendly.

8.5/10Food was excellent. Shared an artichoke app, Had two mains- pappardelle and veal braciola. Then some delicious almond gelato for dessert. Great vibe here. Fun to watch the busy open kitchen (and they were busy on Tuesday eve in November). We had booked some time ago for opening time of 7:30. Husband was a little sad that they serve no beer at all. More proactive help/recs with the all Italian menu would have been nice - but again they were quite busy. Google translate was helpful. Hostess later apologized that they were late receiving English version of their new menu.

10/10Fabulous! Fabulous! Fabulous! Best experience in Sicily to date. The best tagliatelle I have ever tasted with a pesto that was out of this world. Eleonora gave service that was above and beyond. She even made the effort to bring us a raw caba to show us what went into the bread to make it so exceptional. And then she brought out the chef!

10/10It may seem a bit out there(we were staying in Ortigia and walking) but it was worth every step. Great wine list, really helpful and friendly staff, and maybe one of the best meals we had in our whole month long trip to Italy. We had the Lolli Pasta with Kohlrabi Pesto, which was our favorite, and the Busiate with Broccoli as well as the Caponata. Looking forward to coming back and eating here again!!

7/10The food was very good, but we had to sit outside on a hot and humid evening near a busy road despite booking with the fork as the inside was full. We were four diners and one main course arrived so late due to a mistake in the kitchen that the other diners had finished. The servers were nice about it, but it did let the experience down a little.

10/10What a lovely restaurant. The staff were all excellent, and took a great deal of pride in giving the best service and food. This was shown by the fact that they turned multiple walk-ins away,( when other places would have squeezed a few more in) so not to compromise the experience. We were given complimentary delicious chocolate gelato as the almond one we had requested was not available. The trouble taken to accommodate another table's particular dietary requirements and preferences was Fantastic!

9.5/10Lovely restaurant away from the busy areas of Ortigia. The food was very good and the wines were also very good and well priced. Service was a little unattentive but it was also busy and maybe they were short staffed. All in all we would highly recommend this restaurant if you want to have authentic Sicilian food in a lovely atmosphere.

8/10The first two courses were amazing, probably the best we’ve had in sicily, but we ordered the tuna fillet and it was very over cooked unfortunately, still good flavour in the sauce but fish was inedible. Maybe it is supposed to be prepared very well done here? The service was wonderful at the beginning of the evening but they seemed to forget about us by the third course.

Ci dispiace per il pesce, bastava dirlo e avremmo rifatto il piatto con la cottura desiderata. Per quanto riguarda il servizio è chiaro che se abbiamo iniziato bene non avremmo assolutamente voluto finire male, c'era così tanta gente che magari può succedere. Anche in questo caso avreste potuto semplicemente chiamare qualcuno. Il nostro lavoro è veramente faticoso ma noi ci mettiamo tutto l'impegno possibile. A volte i clienti invece hanno poca comprensione. Grazie

10/10Truly an outstanding experience all around. We were the first customers to arrive that evening for dinner and were given a lot of attention and help with picking our meals. We could see the kitchen preparing our meals which were all delicious and very local, and service was excellent, even when the restaurant was filled to the brim with locals and tourists as the evening progressed. A memorable evening!

10/10Fantastic, authentic Italian place. The athmosphere is great. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Also the wine suggestions are well thought through. And all for a very reasonable price. Also a reason why it attracts a lot of locals as well as tourists.

10/10We had a mix up on our booking because I'd missed an EMail from the restaurant (they had a private function arranged). But they kindly fitted us in anyway, and provided a fantastic meal. The baby squid stew (totanetti) was fabulous, as were the octopus with salmoriglio, and the fried anchovies. Really top class food. And the people running the restaurant couldn't do enough for us escpecially as they were fully booked and very busy with a large party of people - lovely folks. Thank you so much for a great meal.

Great food, really nice staff. We felt right at home and enjoyed a very good dinner, like i mentioned before the staff were great, they made sure our experience wasas amazing as the food and wine we had. Defenitely worth a visit if you go to siracusa.

7.5/10Food (typical) Sicilian style is awesome. Reasonable prices and big menu. Unsure which fish is fresh and what comes from freezer. English menu lacks style, only text and Google translate recuired to make sense of the ingredients. Understanding of English with older personel great, with younger personell limited and thus one can get a plate in front of him without any explanation. Standard table means inside, maybe call to have a reservation outside. To be left alone for 30 mins after finishing the last dish was unfortunate. No appetite for a desert this way.
