Very cute restaurant hidden up a charming lane in Naples. Food was amazing and staff are very nice and friendly.

Whilst not the easiest of places to find, tucked away in a side street, this is a gem of a restaurant with excellent food and service and a good choice of local wines.

Beautiful place and ambience

Great service and food!

Wow. What a perfect evening. The food was incredible. The wine was excellent (a nod and wink from the waiter helped to choose that). The service was perfect without being overbearing. And to top it all off there was a singer with accompaniment performing who had the most beautiful voice. It wasn’t too loud either. Our first trip to Naples was made all the more memorable by that meal. So to the management of La Locanda del Cerriglio, thank you! We will be back.

The food when it came was very good. We nearly left before any arrived. The staff seemed to be more interested in moving furniture and ignored us completely. We had to ask if we could order something after which things improved.

Good looking restaurant with a basic but complete Neopolitan menu. They were definitely overwhelmed and the night seemed very chaotic upon arrival. Towards the end things got better as far as the service what are the disappointing things was that the fish of the day with salmon never heard of Neapolitan salmon the pasta with the meat sauce was delicious as was the braised feel wide selection is adequate and well priced.

Service wasn’t good as they didn’t bring everything ordered. Atmosphere was stiff.

We visited this restaurant during our last visit to Naples three years ago. When we started planning our vacation to Naples this summer I knew we would return. It did not disappoint. Always fresh ingredients, food is served hot and delicious. You must try the bruschetta - even though it was a little different from our previous visit it was still outstanding. The service is always excellent too. We’ll be back each time we visit Naples.

The people were friendly, with good service. We had a good recommendation for the wine. The food was good my main feedback was everything was luke warm. In 15 days travelling through Italy this was the first place where the pasta, parmigiana and even the potato side was not hot. Seems to be the way they served it though?

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Every meal we ate was delicious. It was unforgettable memory for us, who are big fans of Caravaggio.

One of the best meals of our trip- REALLY excellent food and impeccable service.

Charming spot and one that’s rumored to have been used as a restaurant for centuries. Food choices lean seafood heavy and were fresh and well prepared. Pastas using local tomatoes were delicious. Small wine list with some local gems. Our server Christiano was great.

Amazing food, very polite staff and wellspoken. Good wine and atmosphere.

Absolutely amazing restaurant steeped in history. Housed in the oldest inn in Napoli, the food will make you swoon and the service is wonderful!!

This was our last dinner in Naples after traveling a month in Italy. It did not disappoint. The food, wine, music, ambience, and service were superb. Highly recommend!

The food was incredible, the locations was amazing and the service was great - I can only praise this place! Nicely done!

Great place, out of the main tourist routes, quiet, cozy, pleasant. Local speacialties were great, especially seafood. Good selection of wines, reasonable prices.

Hidden down a narrow invisible alley way at first it seemed closed as under the restaurant’s name is a metal closed shutter embellished with graffiti. Upon entering the restaurant however a different world was revealed and we discovered the history dating back to the fourteen century with customers including Caravaggio. The food was delicious with a seafood soup piled high with mussels and clams. We shared a plate of grilled seafood and a huge plate of greens. The house wine was a generous amount and we finished off with a shared mango cheesecake. The bill was 45 euros a head which was a fair price. The manager kindly changed the music upon request. Would certainly recommend.

Food was reasonably good, not outstanding. There was no selection of wines by the glass, except for one house white and one house red both disappointing.

Music of Santana, ojeecomofa during diner. Tables too close together, waiters can’t fit between them without touching clients. Food is of Good quality, my compliments to the chef.

The restaurant was excellent. Food tasted amazing and great service. Would highly recommend going here for lunch or dinner.

The food was good.. the service wasn’t at all warm and it really felt like they were rushing to get us out of the place to free up the table.. and we were just a couple. Not a particularly enjoyable experience. I also asked for a recommendation on the wine.. a Sauvignon.. and was recommended a €60 bottle.. that’s really not good practice in my opinion. I went for one at €32 which was still overpriced.

This restaurant was in a hidden corner near my hotel. The food was very good. I didn't realize this when I booked, but they also had live music which was definitely a plus. The prices were quite reasonable and the decor was nice. Would definitely recommend.

Quite hard to find tucked away restaurant but well worth the effort. Beautifully laid out rooms on two floors with many aspects of Caravaggio on display to make it even more interesting. Had an excellent fillet of steak and good local wine.

The food is excellent the atmosphere is great!! But most important was the people! They really loved their career. The atmosphere and the service was impeccable.

Very nice place off the beaten path. Great ambiance and service. All staff were very attentive and friendly. We enjoyed some nice examples of Neapolitan dishes.

Wonderful, relaxed evening. Cosy and welcoming atmosphere. Glad I had the map to find this little restaurant, tucked away. Great food, would recommend.

This is a lovely hidden gem with amazing atmosphere, food and service. It is local so not much English is spoken which our wait staff handled with ease. I would highly recommend fitting this into your Naples experience.
7.5
Just sort of a blah experience. There was nothing special or memorable, and certainly nothing terrible, about the meal. There are probably other places with more character and more engaging staff.
