Well this restaurant was a very nice discovery 😃 we went there with friends and it was what we needed for a nice night out 😁 the service is excellent, the waiters take their time to explain and give good suggestions, the decoration is different and they have a nice space outside for summer nights 😉 The little plus: private parking 😍 Well done guys! Keep it up 😙😙

Fun dining experience. Lovely setting with friendly staff. Menus were presented on large chalk boards brought to your table. Drink menu was printed on a wine bottle. Straws were made of pasta. Lots of fun touches.

Love this restaurant. Simple menu of great Italian food. Well executed and very tasty. A great selection of entrées and the home made Tiramisu is rather special. Service is friendly and very good. And all for a very good price. If I had one criticism I’d say they need to improve their wine list a little. Especially the choices of whites.

Always an incredible experience visiting La Locanda. It truly is Nice's best-kept secret with its captivating and artistic ambiance. The Italian cuisine is simply outstanding combined with a great selection of wines, all at a very reasonable price. The staff is relaxed yet attentive, providing top-notch service.

Hidden away among some other buildings this secret garden is an oasis of peace. The kitchen offers very temping and authentic choices of seafood and regional delights. The staff are very friendly and relaxed, as is the atmosphere in general. Honest food, friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere right in the middle of busy Nice - perfect.

We booked online for 14h00, but when we arrived we were told that we are late and that we cannot eat. After showing them that we are 15minutes before the deadline, they accepted to seat us, and they explained that the kitchen closes at 14h and that the website needs to be adjusted. Which by itself is not our problem. Once seated, the other waitress was more welcoming, and friendly. The food is good and tasty.

Lovely little garden in walking distance from the promenade. We got a lovely welcome from the waiting staff, who spoke good english and provided us with a concise and informative presentation of their menu system and the individual dishes. The food, from start to finish, was excellent (and reasonable priced!). This was truely authentic italian cuisine made with exceptional ingredients and skill. The ravioli dish with sage and thyme is one of the best pasta dishes we have ever tasted, and the tiramisu was absolutely fantastic. Well worth the visit, this is a hidden gem!

A hidden well gem outside Old town Nice! Being the only Asian in the restaurant, they did their best to entertain and to explain to us the menu in English. Love the local vibe! Everything is to die for especially the tiramisu! Thank you La Locanda!

Fantastic Italian food. Goes from strength to strength. Full of locals, just get a cab from town centre but well worth it. Staff very friendly and welcoming - a jem!
