Diner beware. They will tell you they are out of the bottle of wine you choose and substitute it another that is double the price or as the diners next to us half the size. They sell you steak by the Kg. Cut off all the fillet of the porterhouse and charge you for the bone and fat. They do not trim the steak at all. Remember you are just buying a Small New York Strip steak for 75 euros. Theives

Slightly old and dated setting, but the food shone. Crispy octopus to start which was perfectly cooked. Followed by duck, meat, pasta and trout dishes. All tasty and well made / presented. Chef keen to please and appreciative. Definitely worth a visit.

Great family restaurant! Great food and great people. We had the privilege of taking a cooking class from Simone. Our meal was the best of our trip! Grazie mille!

What a gem in Radda! We were warmly welcomed into La Loggia and seated with a lovely view of rolling Tuscan hills. The meal was a new memory for us, with each course a unique but complimentary experience. We will return!

The food was amazing as well as the Chef. He explained every dish at our table and the presentation was beautiful. We loved every moment of our dinner. They also have a beautiful dog walking around looking adorable.

Top restaurant in Radda. Great service, very good wines and delicous food. This combined with a great view, nice setting and a family running the restaurant with a passion for wine, food and people. We loved it!

The atmosphere was unique and serene in a way that is rare in a restaurant. A wonderful evening where the food, the hospitality, and even the music was all perfect, and somehow seemingly catered just for us.

The most fantastic Steak Florentine - melt in your mouth - cooked to perfection. Possibly the most delicious side dish of white beans simmered for hours. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, although they could have used another server. The chef visited all of the tables which is always a nice touch. I highly recommend if you are in Radda or passing through. Finally, there is an adorable dog named Kira (I think) who also visits the tables, especially if you have the Florentine steak! Tip: there is a staircase near the Large Chianti Black Rooster sculpture down to the street the restaurant is on. No need to walk all the way around, although it was a pleasant walk.

Hands down the best food we ate on our Italian holiday. So good we ate lunch here then came back for dinner. Highly recommend!

An exceptional experience. Unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. Michelin level cooking and the family who own the restaurant is lovely. Would go back again and again!

Delightful meal! Service was great. Chef came out to explain some dishes & slice the steak. He was very passionate about his food. We had an amazing and delicious dinner. Beautiful views of the surrounding wineries and hills. Would love to go back!

Very nice restaurant in a beautiful setting. We sat just next to the terrace with a view of the countryside. We had a modern version of spaghetti aglio olio, chitarra al ragu, and then shared a tagliata which we asked to cook beyond the usual very rare and which they cooked perfectly. The Chianti wine was perfect. The chef came to talk to us, which we enjoyed. Would definitely return to this very nice restaurant.

Innovative cuisine and traditional dishes revisited! The food was beautifully presented and of very good quality. Atmosphere is more of a family affair with stunning views of the chianti landscape.

Family owned and run for 38 years. We were welcomed with open arms by the father. His son served us and was so sweet and knowledgeable teaching us about the different wines. The food was delicious and wine was as well. Desserts were exquisite and homemade limoncello was the perfect way to end the perfect meal in Tuscany.

wonderful evening, food was fantastic and the chef took the time to come out of the kitchen when the meal was presented and go through the dish and the ingredients, all sourced locally. All the other staff were really friendly and helpful. We had a great evening.

Lovely family restaurant with superb chef and excellent service. We have systematically found it the best in old-town Radda over several visits through the past year. Highly recommended.

Took a long time to get food when we were one of 3 couples there (nearly 60 minutes after we ordered). Food was okay, fresh but lacked flavors. They have a nice patio but there is no seating out there.

The chef has great talent and potential. Unfortunately, disconnect between kitchen and waitstaff. We arrived on time for 8pm reservation. Only guests present. Fifteen minutes before waiter arrives at our table. Ordered wine. Brought to table uncorked. After another 15 minutes he asked if we wanted it opened! Ordered appetizers and four entrees for table. Three arrived barely warm. Waiter apparently failed to bring to table from the kitchen, even though we were still the only diners. The fourth did not arrive for another 25 minutes. Chef arrived at table, very apologetic. Waiter seemed lost and overwhelmed. Ambience consisted of two broken picture windows - one covered with a noisy plastic sheet. Guests at another inside table brought their dog that barked and howled constantly. I would encourage the young chef to move on quickly, before his reputation is ruined.

The food was nice, the service too. We got a discount of fork -20% so in the end the prices was very fine. If you are staying around, It's a nice place to have dinner or lunch. Enjoy!

Michele is a wonderful host, filled with good cheer, and is a premiere wine server. Always a treat when we are in the area. The chef makes a point to come to the table to ensure all is well and explain the parts of the meal that come from his garden.

Probably the best lunch I have had in Chianti… everything was perfect. All freshly made on the premises with produce from their garden. The service is cheerful, friendly and efficient. We shall definitely go back.
