3.5/10Waiter was very rude and didn’t accomodate my group requests. People were smoking cigarettes and cigars next to children. Waiter didn’t want to split our bill, we had to go to the cashier and do one couple at time. French fries were 17.50euro!!!

9/10The restaurant has a wonderful view over Florence from an elevated position. We were seated under cover but at a good table, possibly because we had booked in advance. We found the service and food very good, without being particularly expensive, so would definitely recommend this restaurant for tourists, for a romantic meal or a family gathering.

2/10Underripe tomatoes and rubbery mozzarella passed off as a caprese & over fried polenta with a single mushroom presented as a seasonal app. La Loggia is capitalizing on its location and realizes there is nothing to invest in patrons who are one -time visitors to Piazza Michelangelo. Even Refused to call a taxi for us during a downpour following our meal and directed us to walk downhill in the dark and pouring rain to find a taxi on our own on the Piazza. Just a shame to find such a lack of customer service. This was The ONLY tourist trap we encountered in our beautiful 4 days in Florence.

5/10This place has the best view in the city, but probably the worst service we had in all of Florence. The steak was good, but you can get a better meal almost anywhere else in Florence for half the price! I would recommend coming here for just a drink!

10/10The food and service were excellent, but the biggest plus is the view of Florence from the high point of Piazzelle Michelangelo. First ate at La Loggia on my initial visit in 1985 and try to have lunch there whenever I return to Florence.

+3The views were spectacular. Watching the sunset was beautiful. The food was good and the service was too. The ahi tuna was very tasty and so was the filet with foie gras. The tagliatelle pasta with mushrooms was ok. The mushrooms were tastier then the noodles. We enjoyed the Nutella dessert. Overall a great experience, I'd come back.

4/10The case of a restaurant banking in its splendid location and neglecting proper service and quality food. We had chosen this venue for our final meal in Florence and sadly it was disappointing. The food was average and the service slow and so inattentive the manager had to step in to clear our plates and deliver our dessert.

6/10Expensive steak was way over salted and tomatoe side dish was old and mealy. Tomatoe soup and beef stew with beans were good. Bar was good. Location fantastic.

3.5/10When we first saw pictures of this restaurant, we saw photos online and were enamoured with the view and the tables and the look of it. Do not be deceived. The pictures are from events such as weddings. There is no balcony with lovely tables with white tablecloths and a view. We were expecting a fine dining experience, and there were basic tables that were set underneath a tent outside. We asked why we weren't inside on the balcony and they said those tables are only for events. We left, much to the dismay of the waiter.. Very disappointing. Their pictures do not show what you actually get.

6/10We were looking forward to watching the sunset and having drinks and appetizers. Really could not see much from where we were seated. And although it was a very nice ambience over all with great views of the city, the service was horrible and we left before we could even order more food.
