We were ignored for half an hour to get our meal for a birthday dinner. Food was good but nothing to write home about. Atmosphere was nice but we weren’t seated in the best area.

A wonderful French restaurant. Beautiful ambience. Great service. The menu provides ample choices for all. Veal chop was fantastic. Rigatoni and prosciutto was amazing. Wine list is really nice. You will enjoy this place.

My husband and I stayed in Nice for 9 days and had dinner at this beautiful resturant three time. Great service and food. The seabass with white wine sauce and the fillet were delicious. They also serve : course meals for under 40 Euros ! and I tried tonight. The set up outside is extremely romantic. Will will be back

Nice restaurant and location. Felt like this was really french. The restaurant was fully booked, and the waitres was efficient, but stressed us a little bit with the running between tables and kitchen. But all over a good experience we can recommend. The Baked Alaska for dessert was the best part!

Loved the food and service. The outside surroundings were a bit different from your usual restaurant set up. I don't meant that in a negative way. They have the inside seating too. We had a bit of hard time finding the restaurant using google maps. All in all, awesome experience. Highly recommend for some true french cuisine.

What a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon. And I have been looking for sole my whole trip. It was perfect. Enjoyed watching the restaurant fill with families and friends. It was delightful.

Great choice. We arrived with two infants, perfect kids menu. Very delicious courses. We had grilled octopus and steak with pepper sauce. Good wine recommendation.

Sea bass was excellent, but the vegetables and sauce were cold by the time the fish was being filleted … over 5 mins! The seasonal veg. was mainly cauliflower with a couple of pieces of carrot. The second glass of wine was forgotten, so main course was almost entirely without wine.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing! It was a cozy place to have dinner. However, I was pretty disappointed with the service. I waited for longer than 40 minutes for the dish to come, and I saw a different customer’s dish being served, which was the same dish that I have ordered (even though they ordered later than me). The food was pretty good. But I was really disappointed with the service they gave me.

We absolutely love La Maison de Marie restaurant ! We always come here to dine, every time we come to Nice. Excellent food and ambience ! Service is great as well !

Used to be great But not this year. No English menys. They did not find ANY of our reservations in The Fork. And We had to confirm each time by Visa Concierge. So they must get better for us who dont understand French. And start to look up The Fork reservations

I would return I found this on TripAdvisor and made reservations with the Fork. We dined here on our 2nd night in Europe. What caught my attention was the very reasonable priced Menu Niçois at 27,90 €, which offers 3 choices each for starter, main, and dessert. We both chose the same combination. To start, Les poissons de Roche, followed by La Dorade, and then finishing with l'ananas or Fish Soup, Filet of local fish, and pineapples with coconut cream sauce. We also shared a 75cl bottle of Dom Tasquier Rose. Our main server, per the receipt, was Olivier, but others assisted throughout the meal. My concern was that we HAD to sit inside to avoid all the smokers at the outside tables. We were one of the first to arrive so we saw much of the staff smoking or finishing a last cigarette, but when we left, we had to walk through the outside area and the smokers. Smoking should not be allowed in dining areas, inside or outside. It was a nice evening and would have been nice to dine alfresco, but that's not possible with smokers nearby! We would return when in Nice again, but I guess we'll have to sit inside again!

Our party ordered the sole meunière and the sea bass. The fish was delicious. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed and there was a lot of time waiting for our entrees but the fish was worth it.
