This is a premium restaurant. I ordered chicken which was almost undercooked and the skin on it was soft and almost rare - I had to remove all the skin as it was 'slimy'. The skin on chicken should be crisp and full of flavour.

We visited for the second time this year and again found this a great place to dine. We’d say this works well if you have a special occasion. The tables are close together, but this helps with the ambience.

This restaurant was far better than it looked in all respects just looking at it from the outside. It was a great venue for a special meal and the serving staff were charming if not all of them were that fluent in English. Every dish was easily as good if not delightfully superior than one might expect from an apres ski venue in such a touristy spot. We ate at more traditional “Savoyard” type establishments in Val Thorens which were dull and no better than they should have been. This was all the more refreshing as a result. We nearly skipped the desert menu but were so glad that we didn’t when we all shared three knock out deserts. Especially memorable was the refined Raspberry, Lychee and Rose essence infused Pavlova and of course the beautifully presented Baked Alaska served with flamed brandy. The clientele were as charming and as well turned out as the many agreeable looking waiters and waitresses. Bill was €92 a head for a full three course meal with 2 bottles of Macon Chardonay.

Good food. Good service at the beginning but we tried to order the check many times, and our table was cleaned 30 minutes after we were done eating. After 45 minutes we payed at the bar.

I booked purely for the fact that there was tartiflette on the menu, only to be told they didn’t do it anymore…. Even though it was still on the menu that was given to my friend. Had the fondue instead and it was nice but I was disappointed. The lighting also kept flickering which altered the experience but overall a nice restaurant
