We always enjoy La Marea. Of course the setting is gorgeous, with uninterrupted views over the Mediterranean, but it’s the people and the food that make it so special. The Directrice is just wonderful, warm, welcoming, professional of course, but she creates a lovely atmosphere. Her team follow her lead. And as befits a Michelin starred restaurant, the food is delicious! Very ocean based, but there are alternatives for those who choose not to go for the fish and sea food. We particularly appreciate that the dishes are lighter than many in that part of the world. To our mind, the warm weather, hopefully eating outside, though not last night, suits a fresh, light plate. We had some diving pink prawns, my husband loved his oysters, and both our main corses, John Dory and Monk Fish Cheeks, were flawless! We were so enjoying our evening, that we shared a cheese plate as a third course, which we almost never do! Thank you all, we will be back when we’re next in our nearby apartment!

This is an elegant, understated restaurant. The food followed suit; elegant, delicate flavours of perfectly cooked fresh fish. The set menu gave excellent value and the staff were attentive and polite. Would definitely visit again.

We had a very nice birthday dinner. From the welcoming until the end, the service was top top , very professional and at the same time with a personal touch. We love fish - so this was the place-very nicely composed meny. Is a great variety of fantasy put into each course the fish included of course. Very nicely seasoned which we find unusual in France. - will return often. Thank you for this eve

I ate the menu - the selection and composition of flavours was really a worthwhile experience. I also very much enjoyed the wine that went with it.

The service was great and the position by the sea is lovely but the food was only average unfortunately, too much style, not enough substance

Servers were super friendly and patient with our broken French and the food was phenomenal with A+ for aesthetic presentation. Lovely evening and will be back next time we are in Nice!

Wonderful seafood, and very attentive service. The food is wonderfully presented and very tasty. The wine list is also good. The only thing we did not like is the music. The music played is too loud, kind of 70s genre and unfortunately on a constant loop. The music is more suited to a daytime beach bar.

A nice view over the water and on the hills, paired with a very friendly, calm and efficient service and a really good, tasty menu. We loved it and came back the following day right away.

From the minute you walk in to this seaside restaurant you are transported to a stunning and tranquil place. With its stunning white furniture, you are surrounded by the view of the ocean and the Alps all encompassed by a breathtaking garden full of gorgeous flowers and a sanctuary full of greenery. The service was first class, extremely professional, attentive, anticipated your needs before even asking. We loved this restaurant so much we went back twice, the food and service was that good! There were just too many things we wanted to try. Standouts for us was the Homard du Breton (Blue Lobster) it was unlike any lobster I have ever had. So succulent and sweet along with orzo in lobster bisque. The flavor was outstanding. The John Dorrey was excellent, so soft and flaky with a delicious sauce as well. The Poulpe was perfectly done. We didn’t find out till after that the restaurant was a Michelin Star 2024 and I must say it is most deserving indeed. A must try if you are in Theoule

The food here was disappointing sadly. In fact, my fish dish had scales throughout and a terrible flavor. The ambience is nice, but not directly on the beach and rather facing a quite busy road. I would skip this place in the future. There are many better restaurants to enjoy in the Cote d'Azur area.

Exceptional seafood from the bay immediately adjacent: the aromatically original ceviche is memorable. Flavors here emphasize harmony and aroma, rather than dramatic presentation. Pricey, but so is the neighboring Michelin-starred Yaktsa.

Wonderful seafood and excellent service at La Marea. We loved every minute of our meal at this jewel that clearly, the family owners takes great pride in. Not to be missed if you are in this area.

We visited Marea's predeccessor, Jilali B several times a few years ago and were anxious to try Marea. Overall, bit disappointing. Food definitely inferior to Jilali, with its great risottto dishes.

Good food, however I would mention that the service is slow, making the evening longer than expected.

A very good seafood restaurant! Extremely nice and helpful staff, private parking and a great location on the seaside road in Miramar. They even had French(?) caviar, even if it costs you 135€/30g. Go for a walk on the beach after the meal. There is something magic in midsummer nights here. Did Shakespeare come to Miramar to dream, I wonder.

The service, food and atmosphere were all fabulous. Both my husband and I are gluten intolerant, the waiting staff were so helpful and happy to accommodate our needs. We will definitely be going back during our stay here.

Incredible food, ambiance and service. Best meal we have had on our trip to France! The cerviche and veal were outstanding and so was the wine. The service was very friendly and accommodating and the interior was charming and romantic
