9.5/10The staff were very welcoming to us and to all other customers who came in that evening. It felt like being at a family-owned and run restaurant (which it is, I’m guessing). The menu wa not extensive, but it had a very good selection of appetizers, first and second plates. We enjoyed a wonderful buratta caprese, insalata mista, pasta ragu and saltimbocca, all excellent. The owner kindly brought us complimentary glasses of limoncello at the end. We will definitely go back on our next trip to Firenze.

10/10Thirteen years after we discovered this restaurant we decide to come back. That's where I first loved spinach in my whole life. It's still a very very good place to have dinner. Marco and his team are welcoming and the tastes are great!!!

10/10This was a great find. Authentic high quality Tuscan dishes. The pear and Gorgonzola pasta was outstanding. The bruschetta was loaded with the most delicious tomatoes. Service was excellent. You won’t be disappointed!

9/10Our hotel recommended this place. It was good. Service was very good. They were quick and very pleasant. Some dishes had at the table were better than others. The beef with aromatic oils was delicious. The tone had by my friends was good though it did lack a little salt. Overall the experience was pleasant

10/10This was my second visit to this restaurant, after 2 years: still great and authentic food, excellent and accomodating service, quiet atmosphere, very good location - not in the middle of the touristic center, but on the way to it, so you avoid the crowds whkle not having to get out of the way.-

9/10We have eaten here twice. It was recommended to us by our hotel concierge. This a family owned and run restaurant. Marco, the owner, is warm and welcoming. This is not a fancy place but clean and simple. This is where locals go to eat as well tourists In my experience, while everything is excellent, the specialty of the house - the homemade pastas with seasonal ingredients such as porcini or truffles - are the way to go. The pork Milanese is also a top recommendation. Follow Marco’s recommendation as to what’s fresh that day. Order like a local and not like a tourist. They have solid, full wine list.

10/10Came here for my girlfriends birthday and what a treat! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and we had the best time! Highly recommend the steak florentine T-bone, spent most of the night munching on the bone to get everything I could out of it! A must if you’re busting Florence!!!

10/10This dining experience was among one of the best I have ever had! While this sounds extremely cliche I am most serious…it was really excellent! The welcoming feeling of a true country type Italian restaurant was established upon entering the open door of this establishment. The warmth and care of the staff was refreshing! The food …the prosciutto and melon was exceptionally good… the wine , the bread and the.tagliatelle with ragu followed by veal Milanese with a side of arugula…. Could not be beat in this beautiful city…Then slice of orange cake that was from Heaven! WOW! All this was complimented by the wonder of a young female server…this made the whole meal worthy of a five star restaurant! Excellent!

10/10This restaurant is a little bit out of the touristic area but not that far from the Duomo (300/400 m). The owners are really friendly, the food is excellent and everything is at a really reasonable price. The wine list is simple but shows good wines from different areas. We had an excellent evening and we recommend strongly this address

10/10We were meeting with traveling family members for a late lunch, so the restaurant was quiet and others were finishing their meals as we arrived. Service was pleasant and efficient. We ate a range of foods and all were very good. I personally enjoyed the zucchini salad and clam spaghetti. We liked that most other diners were Italians. all-in-all, it was a very fine lunch.

9.5/10Fantastic value. The owner is right there and takes pride in his establishment. The gno cci is amazing and completely homemade like all the pasta starters. We had the carne platter for two which was delicious and enough for three! I would go back and try any of the fantastic choices.
