Nothing went well. I arrived right on time for my reservation only to be turned away, because La Maschera claimed to not have my reservation….

The service was good but the food really wasn’t great. We eat it because we were hungry but to be honest for a place with so many good reviews I have my suspicions. The ‘local guides’ featured heavily in the reviews. I honestly can’t see how they all think it’s great.

Authentic Italian restaurant run by Italians. Excellent food, full of flavour, and Italian wine that was recommended by the staff and matched the food perfectly. The restaurant is small but cosy. We booked ahead and were pleased we did. This a really lovely restaurant in the heart of a smarter part of the City.

We had a party of 6 (2 kids under 12). Waiters were fantastic and brought multiple starters (burratta, prosciutto and aurbegine). Very kid friendly. Fantastic entrees as well. Would definitely recommend and go again

Charming as charming can be. Personalized service, feels like a quintessential family-run restaurant in Tuscany. Limited menu but everything we chose was spectacular.

We loved this restaurant, we were 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The staff were so lovely, and the food was the best Italian food we have ever had, and we have eaten a lot around the world, including all over Italy. The pasta was made fresh in front of us, and the flavours were incredible and portions were generous. They could have put the plates back out for the next customer as we all wiped them clean! It was really reasonably priced! Next time we are in Amsterdam we will be coning straight back!

Small but cosy restaurant. Food was wonderful, always good to see an Italian chef cooking the food in front of you. Our waitress Daria was not only great in service but she is also an amazing personality. Special thanks to her. Tiramisu was so good i had to eat 2 portions. Would surely go again..

Perfect place to celebrate our engagement! We did the four course chef’s choice with wine pairing and everything was delicious! We were even treated to some limoncello and had great conversations with the staff. 💗 May have to make another trip back before we leave the city!

Lovely little restaurant, very few tables. Small menu cooked right in front of you. Excellent wine list with good wines by the glass. Recommended.

My wife and I were visiting Amsterdam and discovered this delightful little place on the fork.com. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, the food was excellent (we shared all three dishes), and were introduced to a fine Italian white wine the name

Excellent small restaurant with experienced staff knowledgeable about the produce that is used in the visible kitchen, and in the wines that are served. Wonderful freshly prepared meals.

We chose the 5 course tasting menu which was excellent. Excellent variety and every course was delicious. Wine was exceptional as well.

This is a very small restaurant, but a hidden gem. The food was fantastic. We had a five course meal with wine pairing. Just delicious! Highly recommend this place.

What incredible flavors come from this tiny kitchen! Everything from the meat and cheese plate to the fresh pastas to the affogsto was perfect and authentic Italian. What a treasure.

What a gem of a place. From the charming decor over the service to the food, it’s picture perfect. Can definitely recommend the menu with wine pairings. We discovered a few amazing new wines that way and each pairing rounded out the dish nicely. The pasta is simply amazing, fresh, cooked to perfection and a great variety including the daily specials. Can’t wait to go back.

Ate here with two couples tonight and it was fantastic! Each couple split the 5 course Chefs Choice and it was wonderful! Very filling even when split between two people. The service was great and we all highly recommend it.

Excellent regional food of Tuscany and very personalized service. We would absolutely return. Only 24 seats in a very small space so make sure you reserve.

Absolutely amazing. If I could give the chef a Michelin star, I would. We had the 4 course menu with wine pairing and everything was spectacular.

Despite the "authentic" atmosphere, very nice food and wine! I had a great dinner, and saved a trip to Italy to taste the real deal. I will certainly come back.

Cozy, intimate restaurant in the Jordaan that feels like you stepped into Italy. Staff was very attentive and gracious while bustling from table to table to keep everything moving along. Small menu but memorable food - careful attention has been paid to the preparation to ensure every bite is an explosion of flavor. Definitely will return.

Beautiful food and a small intimate restaurant with great service and a lovely chilled atmosphere. Plenty of options to keep a vegetarian and carnivore diner both very happy!
