10/10This was a beautiful dining experience. The restaurant provides a wonderful ambiance and most importantly, the food is excellent. Service is professional and friendly. Menu choices are varied and everything was delicious.

The food was excellent! The portions were over-sized. The decor, etc., was a little tired. The service was indifferent. The uniforms worn by the servers seemed too casual for the setting.

My mother indulged my foodie side to attend this lovely lunch reservation. I did the fixed cost menu including a select starter, main and dessert. I chose the fish soup that was similar to a lobster bisque. The fish of the day was light and perfectly cooked as my main. I enjoyed the roast red and yellow peppers with a savory sauce. The star of the show was the floating dessert with a Carmel and almond topping with a light sauce. Delightful!

7.5/10The sole and bream were excellent. Unfortunately, as in other restaurants in Paris, my wife’s order of the fillet steak ( ribeye) was very fatty and therefore chewy. My advice is to stay with seafood as the restaurant is well known for and you’ll be fine

8.5/10Our dinner was delicious (bouillabaisse, chocolate dessert, baba au rhum), but the service could have been better. Despite seeming to speak English, our waiter struggled to explain a couple of things – saying, for instane, that the mushroom appetizer, which we wanted to share, consisted of a single mushroom. True? We don't know as we did not order it. He also could not tell us if the fish in the bouillabaisse was cooked in the broth or separately (just for curiosity – as I said, it was good). Some service items were left on the table far too long after we were finished with them (an empty aperitif glass made it through the whole meal). And finally, the bouillabaisse took a l-o-o-o-o-n-g time to arrive, especially for something that was essentially cooked in advance. In all, pleasant but could have been better.

9/10The Christian Berard murals on the walls and the Jean Cocteau artwork on the plates create a feeling of going back in time. Service was attentive when needed and invisible when not, just as it should be. However, the food seemed slightly dated, and not quite up to the standard of other Michelin recommended restaurants we have been to. The bouillabaisse was more like Provençal fish soup with added ingredients, while the vegetables under the sea bass seemed more like an afterthought. Really, there was nothing wrong with anything, but a more refined hand might have lifted everything a notch.

5.5/10Fish soup without depth of flavor & coloring was unappealing. The sole was undercooked in sections, and the eggplant on the plate was grey and underseasoned. Pomagranates did not add to the overall flavoring of the dish.

7.5/10Enjoyed the food at the restaurant. The main problem is that we sat outside because it was a beautiful night and were continuously smoked on by the tables in front of and beside us. It made for a very unpleasant experience. The desserts looked amazing, but we could not stay in the cigarette smoking infested area any longer. When I mentioned it to the waiter , they did not offer us a table inside so we chose to leave.

9.5/10La Mediterranee is a lovely restaurant. The food and the service is always excellent. The staff are welcoming and attentive and check to be sure that you are enjoying your food and wine. We enjoy sitting at a table next to the window to occasionally watch the people come and go from the Odeon Theater outside. If you are looking for a restaurant in the 6th arrondissement that is not expensive where the food and service is always good, this is the restaurant for you.

8/10The items available on the pixe option were very limited. The Floating Island dessert (the only option) was not particularly good. The fish of the day was good, but not exceptional. The best thing was the vegetable option, the only entree option. I would not go back.
