3/10Poor and non attentive service. Then the worst, a bouillabaisse that didn’t taste anything at all. Only tasteless fish with a few overcooked potatoes. What I regret the most, beside ordering that dish, is that I didn’t send it out again!

7/10I’ve been here before on invitation of a friend and was quite impressed at that time. The atmosphere was bubbly and exciting just as you expect in a city like Paris and the food super delicious. However this time our experience was much less. First, they don’t have fries anymore. I like it as a side dish with my main course. Not too important of course but my husband was quite disappointed. He was also slightly disappointed about the preparation of the langoustine. My disappointment was the Baba au Rum. Whenever available I take it. It’s my most favourite dessert. As a banquet bakers daughter I always appreciate its sweetness and delicacy of the drowning cake in the rum. I was very disappointed in it. To start with a positive: the chantilly was excellent. But the Baba was far too big (even for my banquet baker’s sweet tooth) and that the rum was just a tiny drop in a lot sugar water as the taste was like sugar sirop. Not a real trace of rum. So I left feeling disappointed.

10/10La Mediteranee was the first restaurant I ever went to in Paris after I graduated from college in 1976. I have been coming back almost every year since then and it has always been excellent. The ambiance is subtly elegant with beautiful timeless murals on the walls as well as paintings and drawings by Jean Cocteau and others. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The food is always excellent. The sea bream carpaccio is one of the best I have ever had and that goes with the Dover Sole as well. Enjoy both with a chilled glass of the excellent Chablis by the glass. And in the evening the view of the Theatre de L’Odeon all lit up is lovely. This is my favorite restaurant in Paris. Just don’t tell anyone.

10/10We had such a wonderful evening at La Méditertanée. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We enjoyed several nice bottles of wine and the server was attentive to the wine service. There were several wonderful starters (scallop crudo !) and I think that your Mont Blanc is the best that I have eaten in France. We will be back.

6.5/10Food was well balanced and flavorful but overpriced and quite small in portion. Do not be fooled by the bib gourmand rating, as there are much better value alternatives in the area. Our waiter disappeared on us after the mains never to return, and nobody took his place to continue serving us until we had to ask…

10/10Perfect evening with cold & sleeting weather to seek boullibaise. And I found the most unique @ Mediterranee! All fish and potatoes and FLAVORS, fresh aromatic and delicious. I also had oysters to start and they too were fresh, plump and delicious. There’s a French sauce chef here extraordinaire 😋. Hospitable, attentive and friendly staff rounded out the perfect evening. We will repeat again-before the next freezing rain

7/10The food has high quality but the Place was also pushing us from one dish to the other. Prices are high and we thought that for all the Money we spent a relaxed atmosphere would have been nice. Touristic it was and we felt that the Restaurant wanted us to leave for another Customer. All this does not fit to high class Restaurant

5/10The vegetable appetizer which included goat cheese, eggplant etc came directly from the fridge, it was too cold. When the server asked how was it?I told her. She said " yes that's what everyone says!" So why don't they correct this or offer warm vegetables?? I had to flag a server down once, they were nice, but very busy and rushing.

3/10Terribly disappointing dinner. The fois gras was mysterious, frankly not sure what it really was. The bouillabaisse was subpar and unlike any I have had before. I think they took the fish soup entree and threw in a few mysterious fish fillets and called it bouillabaisse. Then we had to ask for aioli and the rest of the accoutrements. Worst Bib Gourmand experience we have ever had over the years. Service was unexceptional-we had to refill wine and water glasses. 9 Euros for a bottle of mineral water is excessive. Poor food, poor service and poor value. Doesn’t deserve Bib Gourmand recognition.

5.5/10The sole meunière was good, if over priced. However, the bouillabaisse was unsalted with overcooked fish and broth that was not strained. The restaurant just felt a bit tired. Service was kind but we were sat directly next to a burning hot radiator.

4.5/10Disappointing overall. Despite booking several weeks in advance we were put in a characterless side room. We asked to move and were refused with no explanation - other than that they were busy. Food and service ok but nothing special.

10/10What an amazing way to spend our last evening in Paris. Definitely need reservations, but we were fortunate to get them the day before we dined. Service was wonderful greetings were warm. Staff was professional. Will definitely return or our next trip to the city.

8.5/10Lovely restaurant with good food but not exceptional. Service was fine although they brought our wine and appetizers before we finished our aperitifs and didn’t check on the meal until we had almost finished it, but they were friendly and attentive .The food was very good, and it really is a beautiful restaurant with gorgeous wall murals and a menu design drawn by Jean Cocteau in 1960. As I understand, this is a Paris classic worth experiencing.

8.5/10We went for a Sunday lunch. The place was packed, mostly with locals, so it is not a tourist trap. I had a bouillabaisse, was very good although not the Marseille variety. The wife chose a 2 course menu, was a better choice, her fish came with an absolutely lovely polenta.

9/10Nice restaurant with very good food which is well prepared and presented. The service was quick and precise. We had a little issue with some part of the order missing but this was quickly solved, so no major problem.The place is a bit more pricey than comparable places, but it is most likely the location in Paris. The place is recommendable.
