La Méditerranée has a lovely ambiance. The soft lighting in the restaurant highlights walls painted by Christian Berard and Marcel Vertès. The food is always good and the service is impeccable. We go there whenever we visit Paris.

Everything was quite lovely. We had a bottle of Champagne from the same house we had enjoyed at our wedding 55 years ago. The food was very good and it was a special experience to share with friends

The menu provides a great choice of different types of food with the emphasis on seafood and fish. The service is friendly and professional. The environment is pleasant and relaxing with tasteful paintings and decorations. The customers are typically discret and happy to be there. A very nice restaurant.

Still one of my favourite restaurants in Paris. The fish soup is always exceptional; and the fish of the day is always really good, very moist fish, full of flavour. How is it cooked? Gently poached in steam, I think. Good selection of other dishes too, but more expensive. Service was very professional and friendly.

Great place right across from the Odeon Theater. Offers a mix of seafood beef and lamb all with a mediterranean style. Our starters were Boulet with mayonnaise and marinated scallops- both excellent. Mains we had were fish of the day; grilled bonita over polenta and lamb tenderloin over wheat bulgar which was the best lamb i’ve ever had. Dessert was their chocolate dessert which was delicious

The restaurant is a so lovely spot! They opened at 19:30, then all tables were occupied around 20:30pm. I recommend you book your table in advance😊 Their staff are very friendly, good service, the meals were fantastic. I totally enjoyed my dinner at the restaurant😊

I had a truly awful experience at this restaurant. The food was very disappointing and lacked any real flavor. On top of that, the service was mediocre at best; the staff seemed uninterested and inattentive. The worst part of the entire night, however, was the cloakroom. When I went to retrieve my jacket, I discovered it had been damaged (you can add details here, e.g., 'the sleeve was torn' / 'a button was ripped off'). This is completely unacceptable. I am extremely dissatisfied. Between the bad food, average service, and the fact that the staff damaged my property, I will absolutely not be returning.

I have been to this restaurant at least a dozen times over the last few years. Unfortunately my recent visit was uniquely and inexplicably disappointing. When they seat you, they serve radishes, bread, butter; we received none (unlike apparently the other customers). We were approached almost immediately to order. Within a few minutes our wine arrived and then literally one minute later they approached with our food (since they stopped having oysters as starters, we only ordered plats). We pointed out that we had not received the radishes et al; they reluctantly took our plats back and gave us the radishes. Shortly thereafter they tried again to deliver our plats; we again said too early. Finally, even though rushed, we accepted our plats on third offer. We ordered desert with reasonable timing but we were still the first people to leave for the night. Short answer: the food was very good but the experience, which had been so much of our previous visits, was horrendous.

Excellent place. I am confused by some of the negative comments for this one. Most of the customers were French (not especially touristy). The bouillabaisse was rich and flavorful and the sea bass carpaccio was zesty, fresh, and quite unique from my own perspective. Service was kind and attentive. If you are on the fence based on some of the odd negative reviews, I would suggest ignoring them and going.

My mother indulged my foodie side to attend this lovely lunch reservation. I did the fixed cost menu including a select starter, main and dessert. I chose the fish soup that was similar to a lobster bisque. The fish of the day was light and perfectly cooked as my main. I enjoyed the roast red and yellow peppers with a savory sauce. The star of the show was the floating dessert with a Carmel and almond topping with a light sauce. Delightful!

The sole and bream were excellent. Unfortunately, as in other restaurants in Paris, my wife’s order of the fillet steak ( ribeye) was very fatty and therefore chewy. My advice is to stay with seafood as the restaurant is well known for and you’ll be fine

Our dinner was delicious (bouillabaisse, chocolate dessert, baba au rhum), but the service could have been better. Despite seeming to speak English, our waiter struggled to explain a couple of things – saying, for instane, that the mushroom appetizer, which we wanted to share, consisted of a single mushroom. True? We don't know as we did not order it. He also could not tell us if the fish in the bouillabaisse was cooked in the broth or separately (just for curiosity – as I said, it was good). Some service items were left on the table far too long after we were finished with them (an empty aperitif glass made it through the whole meal). And finally, the bouillabaisse took a l-o-o-o-o-n-g time to arrive, especially for something that was essentially cooked in advance. In all, pleasant but could have been better.
