10/10Marvelous meal and excellent service in a lovely somewhat out of the way place. Charcutier board varied and delicious. The cassolette was absolutely outstanding and more than enough for the 2 of us. Dessert was Baba Rhum and the best we've had anywhere.

10/10Classic fish dishes beautfully presented in genteel and luxurious surroundings. Everything is in the best taste and service is attentive and friendly. In summer, eat on the sunny terrace facing l'Odeon then stroll in the Jardin du Luxembourg. Best soupe de poisson in town and good value!

6/10The food and service were fine, but not exceptional. Towards the end of our meal we saw a mouse running around. The presence of the mouse, according to the staff, was due to the fact that the doors to the outdoor seating area were open. A mouse in a restaurant is more than little off putting.

10/10We ate there last Summer and it is still wonderful, great ingredients, fantastic seafood (though there are alternatives to seafood) and excellent and flavorful preparation. Pretty view toward the Odeon Theatre too.

9/10This wonderful restaurant is one I tend to return on my trips to Paris. I ran into it by chance many years ago , I liked the blue awning with the name in white and so that same day we made a reservation. We were not deluded, we ate very well. This time though my husband ordered a bouillabaisse and it was slightly different to traditional one, he was a bit disappointed. But overall delicious.

10/10From the atmosphere, to the service warm, charming and professional. Each food course was a dance of beauty and amazing depth of flavors. Wine menu is brief but broad giving all appropriate options. Locals line up for the opening. Possibly one of the top experiences you may have.

7/10This is a good place to eat: Bib Gourmand menu, also a 2-course option. The food was classic -many people had oysters; we had the fish of the day, which was well-prepared and well-presented. If you want to go wild on the wine, you can - at a price. Stick to the more reasonably-priced wines. They are perfectly drinkable. I'd certainly go again.

7.5/10Waited for a considerable length of time before we where given the menus, eventually we where able to order, the mackerel starter was quite good and the Bouillabaisse was very tasty although the addition of shellfish would have been a great extra touch.

10/10Excellent! The sole meunière was outstanding both times we were here within one week’s time. Every course: the artichoke salad, the sole, the roasted figs in honey w/ shortbread and orange sorbet and the rose champagne were superb. My husband and I highly recommend. (We were here once last year as well.)

4.5/10The food was extremely disappointing. The bouillabaisse which I ordered a la carte was very dull—strips of only 1 type of fish—and very small (half a small filet). But worse than that was the “fish of the day” on the 3 course fixed price menu. It consisted of very small pieces of fish—flakes really— buried under a thick layer of mashed potatoes. It was like a shepherd’s pie with fish instead of meat. It was impossible to tell what kind of fish it was. Never have I complained of feeling “ripped off” in a Michelin rated restaurant. Until now based on my experience at La Mediterrane.

8/10The dishes were beautifully presented and flavorful. The asparagus salad was an unexpected combination of complementary flavors. Service was attentive for the most part. Dishes and wine selections could have been explained and suggested by waiters. All and all a very good experience and I would recommend it.

6.5/10Had a late dinner with my eldery parents. My father and I had the same appetizer, octopus, 2 tentacles each. Mine was good and fresh but my father’s wasn’t. One of the tentacles was rubbery and obviously not fresh. My mother’s main dish, was not a fresh fish at all, previously frozen for a couple of days and also extremely rubbery. Ice cream was good though. Service wasn’t that great either. Ordered a Bouillabaisse, server left accompaniments sitting on counter next to us, never brought them to our table. Im guessing since it was a Sunday night, late sitting, eldery couple (90 & 88) they figured they could get away with serving frozen fish.

6.5/10The location was very nice and though the hostess was careful to mention the allergy concerns shared on the reservation, the waiter shared no insight into which dishes could be of concern. Furthermore, he seemed very disinterested in our table lending to a poor experience. The food was decent but not the caliber anticipated with a Michelin star rating. We had a good time given the overall ambiance, but would have preferred a better experience given the expectation and fairly high price tag.

10/10The Mediterranie is one of my favorite restaurants in Paris. I always schedule dinner there the last night before I leave to come home as a treat to myself and to have a special memory when I leave. The location is fantastic, the food excellent and the ambiance wonderful. This last time I brought my daughter and 3 grandchildren and they loved it as much as I do. My only suggestion is to have a couple of more options for the menus t have it a little more affordable especially when coming with more then 2 to 3 people.

7/10The food was honestly not bad and the rose we got was lovely too. Sitting outside on the terrace was a good decision and we spent a lovely afternoon catching up. It was a pity that they placed our wine far from the table and there was not enough staff so our glasses were always empty. We had to eventally wiggle our way through the tables to get our wine each time we need a top up. They can consider spacing the tables out a little or have a couple more service staff to make the experience even more awesome.

10/10Every trip to Paris we find time for the restaurant and it’s location for a very nice, quiet evening makes it so special across from the Opera. Excellent service, very good food and very well presented. The area around is very lively and you can really feel the Paris “vibe” at this restaurant, and walking back to your hotel or apartment is a pleasure on a warm late spring night as last night was.

10/10I found this restaurant on the Michelin guide. Centrally located directly across from the Odeon, we were seated promptly. Service was attentive. Food delicious. Price very good! For those looking for a nice meal, make a reso online. The highlight of our trip!!

7/10Two people got the steak, ordered Medium. It was literally raw. They sent them back and they came back med rare. One person got the Bouillabaisse and it had such a strong fishy taste it was inedible (others tried it and concurred). Everyone else enjoyed their meal.

9/10Food was excellent, as usual. But unusually, the service was not so good. I ordered a half bottle of wine at the outset of the meal and it was only after I had twice had to ask again for it, that I was told that it was out of stock. So I finally got a poorer alternative, when I was more than half way through my main course. The wine was slightly too warm and there was a further delay to produce an ice bucket. In over ten years of eating here, this is the only time that the service has been less than excellent.
