We were given a menu and a waiter took our order and basically forgot about us. Food was not that great. We were overcharged for one of our meals so I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Food was cold and eggs undercooked. Servers are snobby and think more of themselves than the customers. A stuck up place with no discipline when it comes to getting food to a table when hot. This experience happened to us for both a lunch and dinner. Way overrated.

when we were seated there was a young child who appeared to belong to someone working there banging away on the piano . the food was decent but not for the price. the waitstaff was rude. we had been so looking forward to a quaint quiet lunch. very disappointing.

We had a fabulous dining experience. The decor is elegant and atmosphere is relaxing. The wellington beef is a must try while the risotto and gnudi are unique but delicious. The staff are welcoming and friendly.

We really enjoyed our time at the restaurant, and the staff was fantastic. Although the food didn't completely live up to our expectations given the price, we still had a good time. The staff was super friendly and gave us great drink recommendations. The place had a really nice and unique vibe.

This restaurant is a very Cozy place to have dinner. I loved the decoration in the room. The food and service was very good. I tried the breakfast two days ago, but the way they the served and decorated the food didn’t go with our expectations. So go here if you have dinner.

The little restuarant was great! The service was amazing, and we loved the look of the place. We loved the lobster salad and the pork! One suggestion I would make would be to turn the music down a little. It was so loud it was hard to here people right next to you talking. Overall this restaurant was pretty great! We will definintly come back

This was a disappointing experience, especially because the interior is so beautiful. The service was terrible and said they wouldn’t serve us the breakfast menu, when the table beside us had just done so. It is over priced and the quality of the meal was sub par.

It's all ambience, but even the piano playing is a little too loud. They had a little rope and bouncer at the entrance for some laughable reason. Maybe try this place out for a cocktail and trendy vibe? I had a risotto with clam that tasted too salty, and risotto felt undercooked. Also got a few crunches in there that I thought at first was the watercress stems, but most likely the bits of clam weren't throughly cleaned. My spouse had a steak tartare that was ok, she didn't seem to enjoy it all that much. House chianti wasn't very good. Best thing we had there was the bread service. A salad with truffles was nice, but nothing too special.

This place is really beautiful but the menu is limited. There are unusual dishes with some interesting ingredients. The plates are not generous and the prices are quite high for Florence.

We were a party of 6. Food and ambiance was wonderful. The service was not good. Cocktails didnt arrive until well after meals arrived. Server kept bringing meals to wrong person (every time they brought a dish out!) Some meals arrived after others finished their meal (if they waited their meal would have been cold), so we were not able to enjoy our meals/dinner together. For the price of this restaurant, we would expect far better service. They just did not have their act together.

The service was not great. Our server had a sour attitude, and she did not check back with us at all, as to whether we needed anything. In fact, I would have asked for some salt for the sweet potato fries that were served, but nobody came to ask. We had avocado toast, which was good, except the 1/2 bun that it came on was not toasted.

It makes a big impact on me when multiple dishes present amazing flavors I have never experienced before. During our short visit to Florence, of all the restaurants there are to try, I’m tempted to visit La Menagere again to further explore their interesting and extensive menu. Portions are on the smaller end, but because they were so generous with their phenomenal bread and delicious creamy butter, we left feeling well-fed and with memories of exquisite flavor combinations that we’ll try to replicate back home.

Incredible atmosphere and excellent food in the plate, which is not an easy combination to find ! Do not skip dessert under any circumstances:-)
