8/10The food was good: some of the dishes were inventive/creative but did not quite land. Incredible wine, incredible service and hospitality. You can’t beat the view! I will cherish our memories of this meal for the rest of my life.

2/10Started off well; but we were soon the only table still sitting outside and all other tables had been moved indoors or provided a table umbrella. We were left to be rained on and it ruined our wine, food and experience.

10/10We are from California and have traveled the world for the best food. This ranks at the top. Exceptional Fresh dishes that were unique and beautiful. The service was also incredible- everyone was friendly and very knowledgeable. We did a wine pairing that fit well with each dish. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. Perfect experience.

10/10Everything about this restaurant was top notch. The food was innovative and spectacular. Each dish was a work of art. The service was amazing. Everyone from the waiter to the sommelier to the people busing the tables were as courteous and professional as can be. If you find yourself nearby, this is a must visit restaurant.

10/10We had a very nice visit to La Mère Germaine in early June! The food was fantastic and was matched with amazing wines from St Joseph and Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Combined with great service, it made for a night to remember! We will most certainly return in the future when we visit the Rhone valley.

10/10Charlie and Antoine were super nice - great service! I dined at Mere Germaine 20+ years ago and while I miss the old world atmosphere of then - I see you kept the original floor it seems - and the fun nouveau art is cool too! Merci!

9.5/10We made reservations before we set off on our trip to Provence and were so glad that we did!! The food was wonderfully presented and tasty and the service was friendly and attentive. Would definitely pay another visit next time we are in the region!

The service was good and the food generally excellent, however, for a restaurant at this level there are some points that I feel are not acceptable. Two of us had the digestive tracts left in the shrimps when served, when asked we fed this back but never had a response. We had to serve ourselves water from the table as the staff kept forgetting to do it. Also one of the whiting dishes had skin left on it which had to be removed prior to eating. Overall a lovely meal but not Michelin standard

10/10Ambitious dishes that succeed brilliantly in delivering cuisine that is layered, made interesting by its complexity, and in the end delicious. Well executed set of in-addition-to-the-menu courses, including a 3-part amuse-bouche (or is there another term now for a pre-starter that is much more than a taste?) Service is highly attentive but not intrusive. All service was on the terrace with a view, where the temperature fell significantly as the appropriately long dinner service continued. I wonder if they would consider heaters as an upgrade to their service? Highly recommended.

10/10Absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, well-crafted dishes - the highlights were the dorade fish, cooked to perfection, and the succulent and tender pigeon breast. Quite down to earth, not fussy, just lovely service. Perfect for a Sunday birthday lunch. The brumificateur sometimes we got us a bit wet. No matter, it kept us cool. Bravo to the whole team!

Wonderful atmosphere, exceptional service. Finding vegetarian food options in France is not easy so when we were told there was a five course vegetarian option we were stunned. This was hands down our best meal of our Provence trip. Truly amazing experience, every dish was so flavorful and the wine choices outstanding. Would definitely go back again when in Provence.

10/10An amazing dining experience from beginning to end. Upon arrival, we were lead to a charming patio and had the most amazing appetizers and champagne. The wine list is superb - a leather bound volume containing the best wines from all around France. We did the tasting menu - each course was better than the last. Creative, yet simple. An amazing combination of flavors, textures and colors. Visually stunning and delicious. We have been in France for 10 days, and eaten at a number of Michelin restaurants. This was hands down the best meal we’ve eaten. I could not recommend this restaurant enough!

4/10If you like pretentious service and food that looks good, but has no actual substance, then this is the place for you. They have taken trendy nouvelle cuisine to some place it should not have gone. It is overpriced and while the 10 lbs wine list is big, there is no point in having over 1000 different wines to choose from, when you are in one of the best wine regions in the world. Focus on what you have locally, ignore the rest. I don't care how many Michelin stars you have, that does not give you the right to talk down to me because I can't eat 90% of the things on your menu, which there is no way of knowing that until I am sitting at the table. We have dined at many Michelin star restaurants, far better and with service and a menu that was approachable and in fact something we would want to eat, not just look at. This was something I would expect in New York, I have much higher expectations of a restaurant located in Chateauneuf-du Pape.
