10/10La Moderna Brace di Vincenzo Somma: A Carnivore’s Cathedral Hidden in Bari’s Backstreets Tucked away in the humble backstreets of Bari, Italy, where you might expect only the scent of Nonna’s ragù wafting through cobblestone alleys, there lies a temple of flame, flesh, and full-bodied flavor—La Moderna Brace di Vincenzo Somma. As a die-hard fire cook and unapologetic steak lover, I walked in expecting a good meal. What I got was a revelation. This place isn’t just a steakhouse—it’s a world emporium of beef. Step inside and you’re greeted not by a menu, but by what feels like a passport to the finest cattle breeds across the globe. Aberdeen Angus from the Scottish Highlands, rich and earthy. Jersey Cow from Denmark, unbelievably marbled and velvety. Argentinian Ribeye, kissed by the Pampas wind and practically humming with flavor. And let’s not forget the bone-in beauties from Northern Spain, aged to perfection, each bite a primal symphony of fat, char, and smoke.

10/10From the appetizers to the delicious cuts of meat, everything was spot on. The meat is very tender and they cook it to your liking. Lovely selection of wines, pairs great with the food. Great service too, Antonio was so kind and made our experience memorable.

9.5/10Wasn't our first time here, but every single time they exceeded our expectations. Great meat (and I do mean great), great cuts, great options, great grilling, what more can you ask? Great value for moneyOh! great side dishes as well. This is by far our favorite meat restaurant in Bari.

Antonio was amazing he helped us pick the best steaks in the house and we had an great time. even catered to my wife's dietary needs for being celiac. highly recommend the steakhouse!

10/10Nice selection of different cuts from different countries. All of them are excellent quality. Welcoming service and excellent execution on the grill. All of that with really honest prices. To sum up heaven for meat lovers. Very recommended. Well done

10/10An excellent restaurant. Great range of meat on offer all prepared beautifully. We had a great starter of local meat and cheese which was probably the best I have had. Then 3 had fillet steak and one had a T-Bone. Good range of wine and beers. We had a half litre of house and it was very good. Highly recommend
