5 star service, quality, and cuisine. We went there for our 25th wedding anniversary, and were treated like gold. Highly recommended.

Lovely restaurant with small outside patio. Really enjoyed our food. We eat fish and vegetarian but no meat and we’re very happy with our food. Had the scallops to start then pasta filled with aubergines and cheese both were excellent. Then we had a fava been dish which was nice and a snapper fish both good. Lastly the pistachio soufflé was fantastic. The waiters were efficient but kind and patient with us non Italian speaking and even gave us a glass of desert wine on the house which was a nice touch. Instead of a bottle of wine we got to try several different wines by the glass which was great. Lastly the view of the Sasso was spectacular especially when the top spire turned pink with the setting sun behind us. Highly recommended.

Superb and original food - very friendly service and a beautiful view of Matera ( if you are Lucky to be sitted on the 4 terrace front ), specialy by night.

We booked this restaurant for my wife’s birthday and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent as was the service. I would recommend the Pistacio Soufflé as it was to die for.

The entire experience was magnificent! From our attentive hostess and personable server to the genius chef who greeted us after our meal, our dinner was absolutely incredible. 10/10 service, 10/10 ambience, 10/10 food. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be back again on my next trip to Matera. ❤️🇮🇹❤️

The Cook is the Master of cooking. Amazing local and other food, artistic workmanship, friendly customer service. Cozy restaurant. You already want to go back there.

Outstanding food, an incredible view and wonderful service by a hard working and caring staff made our night memorable. Our dinner here was the best we have had in Italy. Cavatellini with sausage; Ravioli with eggplant and baked tomatoes and an incredible pork belly, all cooked to perfection and paired with a delicious local wine. This is five star dining. Don’t miss it.

Lovely staff. AMAZING VIEW. Food very high end, small portions, delicate, vv special. If you want to eat beautifully, quietly in the Sassi with the best view in town - this is it. Friendly staff, gorgeous local wines. Tasty amuse bouche
