Our food was good, nothing amazing. The head waiter was a bit intense. We felt rushed to order on the spot, it's a pacey small restaurant, orders shouted through and not writen, my wife was not so impressed with her food. My duck hit the spot, they did a small children's plate for my 6yo, but communication was odd, cold. and too snappy for comfort. Thankfully my wife could speak some French, after we ordered the flamboyant waiter was largely absent. Thankfully there was a guy who just plugged the gaps he'd missed. The restaurant fills fast, prices reasonable, food good. The quiet (less attention seeking) waiter probably the best member of staff. I'd return for the duck any day. More wines by the glass would be better.

the woman who served me was lovely but didn’t understand much english so some doodle translate back and forth was needed but that’s fine. i went for food at 19:00 and u was the only person in there which i thought was worrying and i was partly right. the food was nothing to right home about but for the price you couldn’t fault it. DONT BUY SOFT DRINKS i payed 3.50 for a can of coke so stick to water. would i reco it yes and no. yes if you want decent food for a good price no if your looking to be blown away. all in all decent would probably go again but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

We order pate de campagne, tartarte de beouf, filet de poulet sauce au bleu, chocolate fondant and pommes tarte. Every single dish is superb. The wait staff are very prompt and attentive. Price is very reasonable. The above dishes including a beer cost 44euros. Definitely worth a visit.

Rustic genuine French cuisine. Great atmosphere - Christophe the host was very generous with his free brandy handouts - his impromptu dancing between serving made for a great atmosphere
