A perfect start to our Italy trip! The staff was incredibly helpful with the menu, and the service was well-paced throughout the meal. A truly authentic taste of Venetian and Italian food culture. Highly recommended!

Place is superior. Stuff is friendly and proactive. Gave recommendations about drinks and food, offered their favorite variations. Explained food. Strongly recommend to try local Select spritz.

10/10We only had seafood dishes for dinner. We ordered the mixed seafood appetizer, spaghetti al nero, and the fixed seafood secondi, which were all very tasty. The staff was very friendly especially Florian. I would have dinner here again anytime, and I would recommend it to a friend.

+1My dining experience at La Patatina San Rocco was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the charming outdoor seating overlooking the street created the perfect blend of elegance and relaxed Venetian ambiance. Every bite was a delight: the food was exquisite and exceptionally good value—truly a fine-dining experience without the hefty price tag. The vongole and tempura eggplant that were served as a complimentary treat were especially memorable and highlighted the restaurant’s generous and thoughtful approach. The house wine complemented each course beautifully, and the overall quality—from the service to the presentation—was nothing short of flawless. Though this review comes a bit late now that I’m home, the memory of Italy is forever brightened by this meal. La Patatina San Rocco captured the essence of Venetian dining: refined yet welcoming, indulgent yet sincere. I cannot recommend it highly enough—definitely a must-visit when in Venice.

10/10The food was excellent. The ambiance was warm and inviting in a quiet part of the city. The service was AMAZING. Matilda does her job exceptionally well. Not only was the service superb, but she also made honest recommendations that made our meal even more exceptional. Her attention to detail was second to none. We ended up staying for 4 hours because we were enjoying our meal and the company so much. If you go to Venice, you must go here!!!! Hugs and kisses to Matilda from Canada - we can’t wait to go back.

10/10We were only in Venice for 1 full day and it was was our first time in Italy, and we were so heartened by the warmth we were getting with. Matilde was incredibly gracious and welcoming, and patient with our minimal Italian. She made recommendations that were wonderful. Thank you to her and her colleague (we didn’t get her name) for a very memorable evening.
