Terrific wine list, excellent service. Small menu with great choices. We had tipico fish/tomato, pasta with mullet, and eggplant parmigiana, and a Vino Nobile di Montepulciano red wine. Good value and location. Highly recommended. Only downside was a party of adults with a very young child (< 1 year) who screamed periodically the entire evening. My recommendation is to discourage customers from bringing children into such a situation, and seating them outside. I am a grandparent and love small children, just not at fine dining restaurants like this.

Welcome and aesethics were good but they didn't have all that was advertised on the menu. One dish was salty and the other, tasty but not hot enough. No olive oil offered with the bread and no vegan alternative to the mayo offered with the fried cod antipasti

A wonderful lunch - worth the visit! It was a pleasure to see such an interesting menu and the food was plentiful and beautifully presented. Starters… cod fritters, stuffed zucchini flowers - delicious. The fish soup was unexpected, a large dish of various seafood and fish, beautifully seasoned. The pasta were tasty and full in flavour. The lamb kebab was moist and lightly spiced. Thoroughly recommend - very helpful and accommodating staff too!!!

Lovely bright ambience and kid friendly. The staff were very friendly and accommodating for the noisy kids..thank you so much! The food was delicious too one of my favourite being the bottarga pasta.

A very nice little gem in the centre of Pisa. We arrived slightly earlier than the usual dinner time so it was amazingly quiet, then throughout the dinner some more people arrived. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and the service is fast. The waiters are nice, polite and knowledgeable. The food is amazing and very typical. It doesn’t miss that fanciness that’s added to it by the chef. Overall it’s very good. One little personal note, I don’t like when in restaurants water is brought to the table with the bottles already opened, but I don’t think it was possible to have new ones as I believe here they use a dispenser and reuse the bottles, but I might be wrong. Other than that super recommended!

Excellent restaurant in a quiet corner but close to the river and many of the attractions. A far cry from the tourist traps that surround the area of the leaning tower. This is really exquisite cuisine, with a keen eye to elegant presentation and impeccable service. We would come back for sure.

Food was ok, there were various service mistakes. They didn’t bring us the wine before the food and forgot to bring one of the mains. We felt lonely and to order desserts took more than 25 minutes.

The restaurant sells itself as a pseudo fine-dining place but the quality of the food was poor, the service was terrible and there was no ambiance. Regretted booking to be honest. The portion sizes were tiny which was fine by me as they weren't particularly tasty. The waiter we had serving us at the beginning was rubbish. He rushed us into ordering drinks literally before we'd even sat down, and seemed to be in a rush every step of the way. Not worth the money or the experience. Particularly with so many fun ambiant places nearby. I wouldn't go back.

We love the ambience of the place. Good lighting and well appointed furnishing. The only disappointment was the fish dish. It lacked flavour and we felt the fish was a little overcooked. The starter was good and so was the pasta.

This is quite a smart restaurant with its nice white tablecloths and seems to be favoured by business people as well as tourists. Despite being busy the service was good and just the right pace. Unfortunately the tuna dish I chose was no longer available which was disappointing. The melanzane parmigiana we chose for our starter was particularly good.

From the moment we entered this amazing restaurant, which is in an inside garden, we knew this would be a really good night. It was our last night in Italy and we really wanted seafood. La Pergoletta did not disappoint. The staff were superb and knowledgeable providing very good advice when sought. The black and white salmon ravioli was particularly memorable, and was accompanied by a superb and reasonably priced wine list. All together we couldn’t be happier with this restaurant.

I had a good beef in a quite central restaurant (right by the river. Lot’s of places with good atmosphere nearby perfect for a drink or two). I regret that I didn’t go for the Bistecca alla Firoentina! That looked so good.

We dined here during a one night stay in Pisa before a flight back to UK. It was superb, great seafood, good wine choice, a mix of locals and tourists but very different from the tourist orientated and overpriced restaurants close to the tower. Tender octopus, delicious sea bream and a great cod starter, highly recommended!

What a gem! Food was excellent on every level, although we got confused with the seafood tasters and ordered more than we intended however they were delicious! Atmosphere was perfect and would most certainly go again!

The place has a great atmostphere. It is situated in a calm alley, afar from the noise of touristic restaurants. The food quality was superb (a bit expensive for the quantity in my opinion), but one should expect more variety of dishes (altough this may vary throughout the year). Anyway, it's a great oportunity to escape from the typicall "pizza and pasta" restaurants. The service quality was excellent, the waiter and waitress were really kind and attentive. Totally recommended!

We had a wonderful lunch, the food was delicious and the service was great. We go to this restaurant regularly but hadn’t been since before lockdown. We were a bit worried about going out to eat, but we felt very safe as the staff wore masks and the social distancing was respected. Highly recommended!

Friendly and charming welcome followed by completely delicious food at every course . The artichoke flan was bursting with flavour and the home made pasta with boar everything one could want . Excellent reasonable wine list . Loved it .
