Our waiter recommended everything that was super expensive! His exact words. Music did not go with the vibe. Food was good but I did not feel comfortable from the minute we set inside, more catered for tourist, which was a shame. The wine finally we were recommended after the waiter realised this meal was not found to cost a fortune was lovely. Ravioli crème was far too rich and over powering. My pizza was nice. Nothing special.

I recently visited La Piazza restaurant in Venice and had a very enjoyable experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and rich flavors that truly stood out. The prices were quite reasonable, especially considering the area... The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. However, one small issue was that the door was left open, which made it a bit cold inside. This is something that could easily be improved. Overall, it was a great dining experience that I would definitely recommend to others visiting Venice.

Amazing experience at Ristorante La Piazza! The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was elegant and welcoming, and the service was excellent from start to finish. A very tasty meal and friendly staff however, it felt very rushed and because of this, our experience was not good. The staff were constantly rushing to re-set tables around us as guests left and seating new guests within seconds. Like a factory! We felt like we were just two of many covers crammed into the evening service so they could maximise income. No thought at all for the guest experience. Whilst swallowing the last mouthful of our drinks, we were ushered to the till to pay, and given complimentary sorbets which we ate, standing at the till, and at the same time, the waitress was asking for our payment so we were juggling a wallet and the sorbet where the waiting staff were squeezing past to enter the kitchen! Crazy! I would not return - which is a shame because the food was good. There were plenty of other restaurants around the corner from this which looked like they could do with the business.

The food was tasteful but the customer service was very disappointing. They rushed us and seemed irritated when we didn’t order a lot. The overall experience was chaotic and not somewhere I’d revisit.

Pizza was like a frozen pizza, was undercooked and not very nice. Asked the server about the buratta on the pizza and we were told it was fine. As soon as we were finished we were asked if we wanted the bill and we felt that we were being rushed out.

The food was excellent, and the staff were friendly. It was a bit cramped, though. What I didn’t understand was why, even though I had booked a table in advance through the restaurant’s website, I still had to wait outside in line until I was invited to my table. I think that once Italians take reservation automation more seriously, there will be far fewer issues—for both tourists and locals.

Very crowded- I would suggest making reservations, especially on the weekends. We had the burrata appetizer which was very good and fresh tasting. We ordered 2 pastas and split them, lasagna ragu and pasta with locals lobster. The lasagna was very good but the flavor of the pasta with lobster was excellent! We were picking our plates. For dessert we had the panacotta and I wasn't expecting much, but boy was I wrong ! It was so delicious- never had paracetamol before, but now I am dreaming of that dessert! Service was very good as well.

We ordered the calamari mixed with shrimp and fish, squid ink spaghetti, ravioli, and steak and everything was SOOOO GOOD!!! I would definitely come back again.

Just too noisy and busy for us. We were seated near the service area and the noise and comings and goings of the many staff didn't make for a relaxing experience. In a very touristy area so to be expected we just did not enjoy the experience. The fish dish we had we thought was expensive for what we got.

We had such a great night at this restaurant. The service by our waiter Jeremy was excellent and the food was outstanding. Overall a highly recommended restaurant!!

Very good food, but unfortunatelly the reservation was a total mess… reserved for 19:30, arrived there and there was a big line, everybody with reservartions, but the restaurant was full… clearly overbooked by the restaurant… took more than 40 minutes to enter, plus the confusion.

Wonderful, welcoming staff obviously love their work! Food delicious. Roasted brancino fantastic with beautiful vegetables. Highly recommend!

We visited this restaurant during our family trip from Japan to Venice — a trip we decided to take because all three of our children were reaching important milestones: graduating from university and starting their careers, and finishing junior high school and entering high school. We also felt that this might be the last time all five of us could travel together, so we wanted to make it special. The food was wonderful, of course, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was the atmosphere. It was lively and full of energy — cheerful and vibrant, but never uncomfortably loud. It made us feel genuinely happy. We loved it so much that we ended up going back for a second night. Thank you for making our precious family trip even more memorable. We hope to visit again someday.

We enjoyed very much our dinner at La piazza. The staff was great, very polite and gave us pretty good suggestions about food and wine. Everything was perfect. We recommend this place to all Venice visitors

Lasagna was mushy. The clam spaghetti noodles were over cook and very dry with barely any sauce. One good thing was they gave a good amount of clams. We couldn’t even finish it. Worse meal we had in Venice. We definitely would not recommend or ever go back.

Food and ambience were good. I felt a little rushed to order and a little difficultly with communication on menu questions due to English/Italian translation. Overall a good experience and I would certainly recommend this restaurant to friends.

Food was amazing!!!! Highly recommend cantaloupe and prosciutto, mushroom ravioli and the steak and arugula! It is a well oiled machine in there… long line, short wait!! Complimentary prosecco while waiting!! Service was great!

Very busy location, but with a reservation I was seated right away. I ordered and had my food and bevvie within 15 minutes. Excellent service and the food was outstanding!!! The only down side was they were out of the dessert I wanted, but I made up for it with some local street gelato!

We were probably quite unfortunate because despite having booked in advance, we were at a table right next to a busy walkway where the waiting staff were constantly rushing past. This meant that from our perspective the ambience wasn't great but like I said, we were probably sat at the worst table in the restaurant. Food was great, not exquisite, but great. Service was very good.
