The owner and staff should be ashamed of the way they treated the foreigners. At first it seemed like simple incompetence bringing the wrong drinks and appetizers - but when the owner “accidentally” added the bill incorrectly, that was the final straw. The food is ok; the atmosphere is that of a chaotic, cramped pizzeria and the dreadful, inattentive service doesn’t justify a single star. Save yourself the frustration and enjoy a better experience at just about any other establishment - they will likely be happy to have customers patronize their restaurant.

This was a quiet dinner for my wife and I. We have spent a lot of time in Italy and a fair amount in Milan. We wanted a high quality, local place. Not at all touristy. They absolutely delivered. I believe that we were the only Americans in the restaurant. Everyone else seemed local. I speak fairly good Italian but someone who didn’t speak Italian would have been fine. The good was great. The service was timely and helpful. They prefer if you pay in cash.

If in Milan.. I do recommend going to this place to try some typical cuisine. We had cotoletta, ossobuco and pizzoccheri and a few dessert. We enjoyed every single dish.

Small menu, and it seemingly pays off. Risotto milanese with osso bucco and the cotoletta milanese were superb. Will have to come back for dessert, the tiramisu looked awesome as well.

The staff were fantastic and recommended local food throughout. Mixed starter, main and dessert was enough for us (huge gaigin!). Wines were delicious and the recommended Amaro was perfect. The only thing that let the l7nch down was the cream on the Mont Blanc - it tasted like canned cream. The tiramisu was delicious though, so sharing was perfect.

We are Japanese visitors went to your restaurant for the first time. We really satisfied with your foods and lovely hospitality. We tried pasta pomodoro with basilico, roast beef with spinach and risotto of porchini mashroom. All dishes are so tasty and match with house wine. This must be one of the best answer for foreign people who visit Florence and want to try traditional Florence foods.

Mostly traditional plates, well carried out, but some of them had a creative twist; overall delicious food. A traditional, modest setting, and sufficiently charming but just a little too brightly lit to be considered romantic.

At first we were warmly welcomed and glutenfree options for my wife was introduced from the menu. After all my wife’s choice was main course ”wasn’t good glutenfree” and she was strongly recommended to change her main course, which was a disappoinment. Starter cheese plate and grilled goat cheese was better than average. After the meal we didn’t get the promised discount and the staff was unable to get taxi for us (my wife was pregnant and not feeling well and our children were tired). Overall food was maybe better than average, but the main courses were bit overpriced (over 20€ for milanese cutlet is quite high price in my opinion).

I liked wine, risotto and pasta. The milanese cotelete was so so. But maybe it's a problem of a dish.

nice restaurant with excellent Milanese dishes. portions are big and tasty, the price is in line with the city and seems reasonable considering the size of the dishes. the service is kind even if sometimes seems little slow. definitely worthwhile
