It was a quiet night so we spend the night being well served. The baked artichokes were divine and the Hake plate was delicious.

The service, despite a one man show, was very efficient and with a “family” touch. Quite respectful, great and transparent suggestions looking for client’s satisfaction. All dishes were very good and in good quantity.

Paella and wine were excellent. Our waitress didn’t speak English but the menu had English descriptions. So nice experience, we just didn’t get butter or another bottle of water when requested

Food was not great. The presentation was lovely, but the food itself was bland. We had the fried peppers [good - but basic peppers in olive oil - could have used a little salt or seasoning] we had the octopus with aoili [beautiful presentation, a bit tough, and not a lot of flavor]; and we had the fried squid with egg [interesting concept, bur again, lacking in flavor - squid had lots of breading and no seasoning]. We were disappointed. Would not return.

We had a few dishes at la Playa. Surely in Madrid you can find some cheaper options, however, the food was nice

Everything was impeccable, from the ambiance to the service, and of course, fresh delicious food.

The waiters were a little bit rude but the food was nice and the bread was tough. The octopus and the paella were so good and if you are looking for something sweet in the wine aisle you will never get it here, that was very well communicated by my waiter.

First I have to say service was fantastic, was my dad’s birthday and I requested to put a detail on the dessert we ordered but they prepared a little birthday plate with a candle, was much appreciated. Regarding the food I ordered everything was really tasty, the croquetas were creamy, the bonito was fresh and the Arroz con Bogavante was beautiful. Definitely will come back.
