10/10My husband and I shared every course; it’s what we do… Appetizer: cherry tomatoes, Proscuitto, and mozzarella cheese……YUM! Pasta: linguine with lobster…..SO GOOD! Entree; Sea Bass coated in salt….,tender and delicious We sat outside looking at the boats on the Grand Canal. Taking In the Venetian vibe. Great meal, great service with a friendly staff.

8.5/10The QR menu can be confusing for some. They do provide an iPad, but that is not the most sanitary surface to order your food. They have a menu on the outside of the restaurant but it does not match what is on their online menu. One member of our party was not able to order what they wanted and had to. switch their order. The food is good. The location is good. I don't know if I would say excellent but it is good and you have a front row seat on the Grand Canal.

7/10I like the location. It faces the canal. The food is just normal, nothing special. Portions are tiny with the price they're charging per plate. I understand it's a tourist destination. But for locals, not value for what you're getting.

10/10It was a beautiful night outside on the patio. What a perfect location watching all the activity on the canal and the beautiful people watching! Food was excellent and the staff very attentive. Service with a smile. I’ll be back????

7/10Good atmosphere, decent food, terrible service — took over 38 minutes to get our bill after asking three times. No one checked on us. Not very friendly :(

2/10The food was so bad for the price that I almost cried. Service was very average and they acted like they didn’t want to talk to you. This place is a tourist trap. Beware of google ratings that say this place this good with 4 star ratings. Pasta was horrible.

9/10The food was very good, especially the seafood. The location is amazing! The area is enjoyable as it's not an extremely busy part of the canal, but still fun and lively . We made a reservation and had a comfortable outside table with beautiful views of the area. The service was good. While the restaurant was very busy, were received prompt attention when requested. Overall, a very enjoyable meal with family.

10/10I asked the restaurant to help me prepare the surprise for my husband’s birthday and the service was amazing! The staff was really great, the food very good (grilled tuna - excellent!), we even got a special menu for our daughter, who can eat only gluten- free products. I’m really grateful, how helpful this restaurant was. We had a quiet table in a corner, with a view on a Grand Canal but without hordes of tourists passing by.

4.5/10Considering we were the only diners in the restaurant when it opened at 6pm ... the food was not good quality .. We asked for an oyster each but these didn't turn up (thankfully not charged ) Felt like we couldn't ask the staff for things as they didn't even ask how the food was (it wasn't nice especiallyor the price tag) Skipped dessert to avoid more disappointment Best part of the meal was the lovely view outside .

3.5/10Restaurant was at the very end of canal where there is much less foot traffic and plenty of empty table. We requested a table facing the canal. The female hostess ( dark hair in a pony tail). Was extremely rude. My friend was offended by her rudeness and dismissive attitude with her heavy accent, we found a table by the water a few restaurants down and left!

8/10Lovely restaurant not far from The Rialto Bridge and in a quiet location. We requested a table by the canal and on both occasions this was reserved for us. Prices are fairly good and our food was very tasty and enjoyable.

10/10This restaurant is an absolute must if you want the best seafood meal in Venice, Italy. You sit very comfortably outdoors just a few meters from the Rialto bridge and the Grand Canal. I devoured an entire lobster covered with linguine, while my wife loved her spaghetti with clams. A small split bottle of chianti materialized even though it was not listed on their menu. Finally, english must be the entire staff's second language. I promise, you will leave there never feeling rushed or disappointed.

8.5/10We chose this restaurant as it was by the canal and had relatively high ratings. For the price, food was average and service was good. We requested to have a table on the canal when making the reservation and we ended up sitting outside but not on the canal (side of the restaurant). Might as well gone to any restaurant and sat outside while not paying for the location.

9/10Was a beautiful scene on the water and the food was delicious. Being a much younger couple than most around, felt like many others were receiving better service than us. Initially got asked what we wanted to drink and said water while we looked at wine choices. We then did not receive any service until about 30 minutes later. Besides that hiccup, it was a fantastic experience.

9/10Lovely setting right on the Grand Canale near the Rialto bridge. We reserved ahead and requested an outside table which is adviseable in the summer. It was a Saturday night and busy but the service was still very good. The waiter took time with us and helped us with wine choices. We had the selection of small starters which was nice to have a taste of different things - I liked the tempura courgette the best. My main of tuna was OK - but I wasn’t that keen on the pistachio/orange crumb - but that was my fault. It was as described. My husband had catch of the day which was good. We have a great local white wine called Lugana. Not cheap but now where with that view in Venice is. I would say it was good value and would go back.

10/10The restaurant is located by the Grand Canal and some of the outside tables have an unobstructed view of the waterway. We had the delicious and tender pork cutlet which we saw a gentleman enjoying in a previous visit here. After seeing the salt-encrusted sea bass on the menu, we are planning on going back this afternoon to try it. The wait staff are all very personable and helpful, especially Samuel.

8/10La Porta D'Acqua is good. The reviews made it sound amazing, which seem overblown. Fish of the day was grilled and pleasant.. The zucchini it was served with was excellent but everything else fell into the good but pretty pricy for what it was category. It is a lovely location with a good view. We had two cocktails, three glasses of wine, one starter, one salad, two mains and split a dessert and it came to 139 euros.

10/10We were recommended to go to this restaurant in Venice and then also checked the TripAdvisor reviews. We wanted one splurge meal in Venice and this one did not disappoint. The fish was fresh and prepared in an interesting way. The ravioli was delicious the dessert was also wonderful. Top it off with stellar service and a delicious Chianti and the evening is perfect. Wait did I mention that it is right on the Grand Canal? It was cold but we had a window seat so we enjoyed the spectacular view from the warmth of the restaurant. We met a lovely couple sitting next to us who decided to order everything we did since it looked so good. Finally, even thought it was a splurge meal it was less than fine dining in Los Angeles

10/10Really liked the small menu card with a good variety of italian food. The food itself was delicious and the staff was really friendly and helpfull. Loved the ambiente there with a modern but still charming and warm style.

10/10We were warned about the food in Venice but this place exceeded our expectations. Maybe the best meal we’ve had in Italy this trip. The catch of the day in the tomato olive and caper preparation was absolutely phenomenal and the ravioli with bass and lemon was delicious and quite unique. Everything we had was very very good and we loved our server.

7.5/10The food was very good. We had catch of the day and slow cooked chicken, both were very good. Staff were efficient, but a little abrupt - It didn’t feel that they wanted to spend too long talking about the menu or the options, however it wasn’t busy so they had time. Also they had the same song on repeat, we heard it 12 times and then they changed to another … played that one 8 times by the time we left. Felt as though the food made this a better experience than the effort in the service.
