Second visit. It’s me and my partner second time in Milan. The first time when we were in Milan, we came to this restaurant, just because we passed by and it looked authentic. Eventually the food was amazing! This time still with Amazing food, also friendly and professional staffs. Would definitely recommend!!

"An absolute must-visit! The viel cotoletta alla milanese, stracciatella, Pugliese wine, and olive oil were all sensational. We usually sticked to the tourist paths around the Duomo or Brera and this place is a total eye-opener. We were looking for a truly authentic Italian experience, and this delivered on every level—the food and wine were world-class, matched only by the incredible, warm hospitality of the staff, and manager. The best Italian wines don’t always carry the highest price tags; you just have to follow the restaurant's recommendations. We’ve trusted them so far and haven't been disappointed once!"

Had the beef roulade - it was very salty. So was the pita bread. Service staff did not ask about the food even though I left half a portion untouched.

It was a welcoming experience in all respects. The cuisine was authentic from Puglia and the wine selection included highly rated (from Vivino) selections. The host/manager was very friendly and explained the history of the restaurant and details of the dishes. I chose this restaurant using The Fork and is was a pleasantly surprising good choice.

The food was just ok; the Seafood was not fresh. Bought a bottle of wine and was poured 3 glasses and they took the bottle away half full. We thought they were just keeping it off the table but they said it was empty when we asked for it.
La Porta RossaThank you for your opinion, but for the wine you tried a primitivo and we make 4 glasses so the bottle was empty.. the food is fresh and in the restaurant you don’t tel us any problem so now i can’t control if there is a problem or not ..

Food and service is amazing. Authentic beautiful Puglian food and drink. Service brilliant! We eat outside and the only blip is the dance music from the empty bar next door… which I hope will close down as they had no customers! Unlike La Porta Rosa which was full!! Either way would go back and recommend it whole heartedly…

The owner and the servers were very kind and professional. The Rigatoni with scampi and the spicy tomato burrata orchiette were really good. Generous portion sizes and charming interior.

I was received with a warm welcome after a last-minute reservation. What a good decision! The light dinner was mainly tartar (tuna and beef). Both were absolutely delicious! A gave the homemade tiramisú a go, because I had it at a different restaurant and I could not find the taste. This tiramisú was excellent. I enjoyed every moment and bite of this dinner.

The food was awesome and our waiter was exceptional, a true professional, who humored me by letting me speak my rudimentary Italian and giving me tips/corrections in a gentle manner. FANTASTICO!

Food was great, and service was nice. Be aware they will try to deny any discount from The Fork. They would not accept my 20% offer from the Fork, saying I had paid with card so it was not valid.

Excellent pugliese food and an interesting menu. Had a pasta with fresh tuna, pesto sauce and tomatoes which was excellent. Also Had an antipasto of prosciutto and burrata which was excellent. I had a local full bodied red wine from Puglia which was also very smooth and went well with my dinner. The restaurant became busy shortly after my arrival and the servers had many tables to attend to which resulted in a long wait, at times. Overall, great restaurant and staff.

We had a nice Italian experience.We dined with locals . The modern restaurant was warm and charming. The waiters attentive . The food was well prepared. House wines were good. Recommended!

Food was ok, but not outstanding! I would have accepted a much wider variety of seafood and fish in a Puglia restaurant. Fave and cicoria was delicious, nodini and stracciatella were average and finally mussels were poor. The octopus with pure di ceci was ok, but missing crispness. Very good wine list and cordial and efficient service!

a positive surprise. Quite environment, very accurate service, high quality ingredients. I didn't give a full rating on food because the pasta was not completely cooked and the pot not warm, so it became cold quite soon.

This restaurant surprises you in a good way, The staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable. The recommended red wine was very good. We had the pasta with mussels and pasta with clams. Both were tasty and you can tell that the pasta was homemade. Did not have dessert. Recommend wholeheartedly.

Friendly family run Puglian restaurant. Delicious food, good atmosphere. Very convenient if staying near Stazione Centrale, Milan. Great Campari bar next door too

The food was amazing. We had pasta all around and two bottles of wine. The waiter was very nice and explained the different wines and pastas the best he could in english (English was not amazing, but we got by). The ambiance was awesome; very classic-themed Italian restaurant. Overall a success!
