We enjoyed a fantastic evening at this quaint restaurant. My family and I heartily enjoyed the prix fixe menu. I am vegetarian and the menu is, of course, comprised of Tuscan cuisine (read: heavy on meat), yet the chef accommodated my culinary needs and created perfect alternatives for me. The wait staff is lovely and the chef personally introduced himself, inquiring how we were enjoying our dinner. Everything was perfectly presented and delectable. Highly recommend this restaurant!

The menu was excellent and the price quite accessible (28€ for six courses, amuse geul, Prosecco, coffee, sweet wine). The menu is a surprise menu and each course was delicious, there is also a great vegetarian alternative. The service was excellent! I can definitely recommend going to that place!

Atmosphere a destination to get to, dinner was outside. Food was about 7 course, no menues. Yet, they accomodated one vegetarian, one no beef, one no cheese. There were 11 of us, yet all courses were served promptly together. Good wine selection and very reasonable, we has a Marchesi Antinori only 35 euro. Owner explained for us and served for us specifically, Allessandro. His English a little limited, and our Italian the same, we laughed and learned from each other. There were 6 other tables, all Italians. WIth the meal, the chef came out with a few courses, fresh meal that they have that day, if you do not like something, they change it. Courses Zuchinni flower stuffed with riccotto, picci with pesto with truffle and zuchini purée, pork with eggplant, chicken with Gorgonzola and pear, seasoned beef tartar, desert was peach with cream mouse yoghurt. Food light for summer season. Food was excelllent, sensational local meal. Ridiculous low price per person. Dave Nardone

Perfect diner, perfect atmosphere, 10 course surprise diner for 25 euro's. Haute cuisine but then in a cosy setting. If you are near Figline go eat at La posta del poeta!!
