I'm Italian, from Puglia, and as you can imagine I'm a little demanding about food. Well, dining at this place I and my gf didn't miss Italian cooking. Food was excellent, and the owner, who served us, is a very kind and sunny person. We felt very comfortable and had a great lunch. I'll come back and suggest the place to my friends visiting Paris.

The place is relatively small and for sure you need a reservation. We went there in the weekdays but still all tables were reserved. The food quality was really good and it served real quick. The only downside was it was rather cold. So, you want to enjoy ur meal, especially ur steak and your soup hot, but it wasn't. The waiter was very polite and nice. He came to us several times to check if we needed anything else or if we were happy. The soup of the day and chicken salad are highly recommended, though the salad was a bit dry and a bit more dressing would be plus, but it is a matter of taste. The selection of wines are very good and we enjoyed the recommended wine with our meals.

The restaurant is quite on the small side, but can accommodate also families. The wine is top quality and the food is too, everything is accompanied by a kind waiter always available to explain plates and to give suggestions.

The best place to try traditional French cuisine. Although the dishes seemed relatively unassuming on paper, they were all very rich, flavourful, and prepared perfectly, providing an extraordinary experience. The service was also impeccable, with the waiter going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome, answer any questions, or provide good recommendations.

Perfect spot to experience French food when visiting Paris. Waiter was so knowledgable about the food and wine and spent time explaining the source of the food and wine to our family (2 adults and 3 teens). He spoke perfect English and was so passionate about the food and drink. It was all delicious. Highly recommend

There is no better food in Marai! Service was impeccable, staff kind and helpful to 2 ladies of a certain age. Wine selection for this small establishment was suburb and honestly, dessert, which we took home, was incredible chocolate gateau. Will recommend to all and sundry.....sit and enjoy a true gastronomic evening!

Our last-minute booking at this restaurant was a great surprise, made even better by a fantastic discount and Gilles the amazing waiter who made our experience much better by explaining the several salamis and cheeses from different regions of France. The food was incredible, the wine choice spot on, and its location near the lively 'Soho' of Paris was a plus. Remarkably, it didn't break the bank for a 5-star experience. This place is a gem! Highly recommended! Best place to eat cheese and meats in Paris!
