7/10Food fresh and large potions. Service very slow took a while to order drinks and waited even longer to receive them and didn't get what we ordered. The food was really nice and great value.

Great Italian restaurant. Well balanced anti primi and secundi plates. Great wine list. I can recommend the Branzano and the carpacio di trufo delicious. Bon Apetito

8/10Quiet restaurant with good food and friendly, attentive staff. Great for a low key meal with friends or colleagues. Owner and chef are Italiano and if you allow them they will gladly point you toward excellent specialties on the menu.

10/10Good experience and no major issues. The food is good quality and I would think is good value for Monte Carlo. Nice to get a discount and they booked us a taxi when we finished too. Happy to recommend.

4/10Had a very disappointing meal at Marcelo. We were offered the lunch option which consisted of a starter and pasta main plus drink and dessert. I explained very clearly when ordering that my children did not eat cheese and the waiter assured me that they could accommodate this. The starter (a focaccia with Bresaola) then arrived dressed with mascarpone. We scraped this off the childrens dishes and just assumed that was a misunderstanding related to the starter. However, all the main courses (two pasta dishes and two pizzas) then arrived covered in cheese, and when I reminded the waiter that we had specifically ordered pizzas and pastas without cheese. He agreed to take the cheee off of the pasta dishes, but was reluctant to swap the pizza (I had made clear when ordering, it would be tomato sauce only). He said that a new pizza could not be made because they were already made with cheese - which seemed bizarre for a purportedly “fresh” pizza??!! Also for the pasta, when it arrived with Mozzarella cubes on top, he removed the cheese cubes when the request for no cheese was reiterated, but the sauce itself had lots of cheese in it which he had failed to mention. Eventually, after calling him back and making clear a fourth time that my children did not want any cheese in their food, he offered a pomodoro sauce which was fine. The pizzas were very tough and had the feel that they were not fresh. Very disappointing given it had one of the highest ratings on The Fork. It also was not cheap at £90 for 2 adults and 2 children so disappointing.

10/10Food was beautifully presented disappointed in where they seated us after I told them celebrating birthday put me me by the front door by fire extinguisher but food was very good and service was good

10/10Fantastic food and service but 20% discount not applied. Nevertheless a lovely evening and we didn't complain. We will return early next week.
