The friendly welcome & amazing hospitality sets this small, intimate restaurant apart from many others in the area. Thank you to all the front of house staff for making us feel valued. The pasta is exceptional. The fact that it is made next door is evident and how you get so much filling into a tortellini is a wonderful mystery!! Also putting pistachio & ginseng in tiramisu,- inspired😁 The wines, chosen by one of the charming waiters, was perfect too and extremely reasonable. We loved our visit and will definitely return when next in Bologna.

Everything was amazing! We had the tagliatelle with ragu, and shared the meatballs. The pasta was perfection and the meatballs moist and flavourful! Did not have room for dessert, but had a lovely shot of espresso which ended the meal beautifully. The restaurant itself is such a great vibe, with everyone being so incredibly friendly. We spent a week in Bologna and this was easily our favourite meal and restaurant.

So good we went back a second time! Wonderful food, owner and his sons really take good care of you! This was second night in a row we ate there as it was so good!

Food from the heart! Owners passion is definitely felt and tasted in his food and wine selection. Liked it so much, we made reservations for the next night!

The warm, inviting staff made us feel welcome. The food was fantastic. From the mushroom flan to the pork cheek with mashed potatoes, to the wonderful wine pairings suggested by the sommelier, we felt very cared for, just like we were eating with family.

Amazing experience at La Rimessa. The team there does an outstanding job at sourcing the right products locally. Then, all the food over there is made with Love ! Every single dish we ordered really stood out. it was an authentic and delicious journey in the Italian gastronomy. The service was amazing too. we will come back !

Excellent recommendation. Fantastic food and the service was amazing too. We had a lot of really good food in Bologna but this was the best. I'd definitely come back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great quality meal with lovely wine.

Giuseppe and the rest of the staff were incredibly hospitable, and told us all about the fresh food with ingredients from family farms. We enjoyed the tagliatelle, lasagne and asparagus tortelli, and don’t skip dessert! The recommended wine bottle was perfect. They even called us a taxi at the end of the meal. Hope to return one day! Don’t miss this spot.

Hands down the Best & richest/ yet non greasy bolognese in Bologna!!! Fabulous lightly grilled vegetables to eat with a straight keto friendly bolognese sauce! Deeply rich and decadent eggplant Parmesan. Could not have been more fabulous! To top it off, owner recommended a B What a wonderful experience! Superb ambience (narrow restaurant with warm exposed brick walls contrasting with white table linens, candles, fabulous china and sterling silver. Owner offers personalized attention and recommendations…

Lovely small bistro with excellent food and amongst the best pasta we’ve ever had. Delightful owner who helped with menu choices and recommended wine. We would not hesitate to go back - highly recommend.

This is a cozy restaurant; somewhat modern but very warm. The staff was welcoming. The food was excellent, especially the pasta. A great little restaurant!

Wonderful and imaginative homemade food with a lot of produce from the owners farm. Great flavours and all super fresh Excellent service and atmosphere, with tables well spaced. Highly recommend

Disappointing and boring food in a city known for its rich food culture. I had tasteless orzo with zucchini and hazelnut pesto and mushy veal skewers. My husband, who is basically a carnivore, didn't even want to finish the veal course. The server was super nice, the wine was tasty, and the atmosphere was fine. Not a total let down for the evening. However, with a million other restaurants to choose in Bologna, I'd skip this place.
