The restaurant feels a little off the beaten track, wedged on the hillside between Monaco and Menton. We had an amazing experience. The owner was very welcoming, the ambience was perfect and the food was fantastic. We would love to return and definitely recommend for a special experience away from the business.

10/10Located in historic village with a wonderful view of the castle. This first floor restaurant with a covered terrace is a brilliant choice for anyone visiting the village or Menton which is only a 15 minute drive away. The menu is very french all the dishes are delicious. Fred who will welcome you on arrival if you are lucky is a friendly and charming guy

10/10A wonderful evening as usual . Fred keeps a watchful eye over his marvellous staff who are friendly knowledgeable and accommodating. Lovely views of Roquebrune castle, lit up after 8.30. Ambience and decor first rate. Food is excellent. And don’t miss the famous orange wine!

10/10I have recently visited this restaurant for dinner and i have to say it s s very nice location, with amazing view near Menton and Monaco . The service was very fast and professional , friendly staff and above all the servings were very good . Dessert was super !!! I can recommend this restaurant , absolutely.

10/10As ever, a wonderful dining experience at this tasteful restaurant in old Roquebrune with views of the sea and the castle (and, to be fair, the car park). Flavourful cuisine artistically presented . Friendly service makes guests feel at home on a relaxed atmosphere. Thank you Fred and the team.

10/10My friends and I were visiting Monaco from London and we found this little cute place outside of the area. We decided to take the car and visit the restaurant and it was a great choice. The restaurant was super and the service was amazing! The food is local and very fresh. The selection of wine was incredible. Overall the experience was perfect!

10/10We were in Monaco 3 days and this was our favorite meal. Fred’s personal attention and warm but un intrusive manner makes it’s all the better. He gave us a beautiful table on the balcone and we live in Italy and will certainly return. Don’t miss this gem!

9.5/10As always a warm welcome from Fred and delicious menu good value at 38 euros. Great views of the castle and people jostling for places in the car park from the terrace. We were joined by a cat who sat at our table till some customers’ dogs turned up! fred’s orange wine aperitif is legend ….

9/10A friendly welcome with a delightful terrace setting set the tone for a pleasant dinner. We ordered from the set menu and enjoyed a mixture of fish and meat dishes, all featuring a clever combination of flavours such as a cod with black olive and sausage. Desserts included an excellent tarte tatin. We appreciated the waiter producing a sparkling candle on discovering it was my partner's birthday. A happy evening we would be happy to return to again.

10/10We had Easter Sunday lunch here. Food was good. Service was great, also to our 2-year old baby. Location is nice, fancy but not formal. Price for 2-course menù plus dessert was around 40€ which is reasonable for Easter Sunday.

9/10Another great meal at the Roquebrunoise. The steak was to die for and service friendly and attentive without being overdone. The homemade lemon and orange wine aperitif is delicious . Lovely sea views and pleasant live jazz including saxophone added to atmosphere .

9.5/10Such a homey and relaxing restaurant. The castle was easily visible through the window and the drive was really nice. It was perfect for a romantic date, but also great for families. We made reservations the night before via The Fork, and it worked out well. There is a couple of parking areas nearby, and we were able to find a spot fairly quickly. The waiter spoke some English and he made us feel comfortable. We found the food to be extremely yummy and reasonable priced. I highly recommend the "fantasme du chocolat" - so delicious! If we ever come to the area again, we would definitely keep this restaurant in mind!

8.5/10Very nice local restaurant. Cosy and old fashioned. With fireplace, Jazz, antique furniture and friendly staff. Entrée was delicious, for main course I wasn’t so happy, but it wasn’t bad, probably just not amazing ) I suggest this restaurant to my friends if they looking for something real, homemade and calm.

9.5/10Lovely terrace , excellent food and ambience though personally I don't like the kind of ambient music played. Lovely staff who had to work very hard as the place was full but no one minded waiting. Being able to book through the Fork meant we got one of the last tables though they made s great attempt to accommodate everyone. They obviously really vAlue their customers.

10/10This is fantastic restaurant at the old inn neat the gates of Old Roquenbrunoise village. Hearty and sumptuous cuisine of South Provence with chick of Cote d'Azur at reasonable prices. Meat is especially great along with excellent selection of local aperitifs from Menton region. Chef Fred is fantastic personality. Strongly recommended in you stay in Menton, Cap Martin or Monaco.
