6/10My fish was overcooked and mealy. Nobody asked us how our meal was. We will not return.

8/10The service and the ambiance were very nice. . This seems to be a popular spot and the restaurant was very well attended. The food was very bland though. My husband ordered Couscous with meat and I ordered the vegetarian version. The meal came in form of a soup with veggies for us to share and the meat was served separately. I suspect because I ordered the vegetarian version the broth we got was also vegetarian and that's maybe why it was so bland. The dishes on the other table had the protein served on the side too.

10/10It’s so nice to try different types of food and this was an excellent choice, in the UK there are next to no Moroccan restaurants therefore this was an opportunity not to miss and it didn’t disappoint

10/10I heard it was a great place to eat genuine Moroccan food, and I was not disappointed. With excellent service, tasty food and very reasonable prices, I can recommend a visit to La Rose des Sables.

9.5/10A lovely warm restaurant - the welcome, the service and the ambiance. The food was great, the bottle of red from Algeria was a perfect match for our tagines. We left with full tummies and our only regret is that we leave in the morning so can’t go back.

9.5/10We had Couscous du Chef and Tagine Olives. Both were cooked to perfection. The recommended Moroccan Rose wine was surprisingly refreshing and value for money. The service was friendly and waiter explained the menu in details. A very pleasant dining experience.

10/10The place although small has an authentic vibe and owner’s hospitality makes you feel welcome. The menu offers good choices of meats but the two main heroes are the tagines and the couscous. Both are incredibly tasty and well worth the visit. Don’t forget to have the home made pastries for dessert!
