Let me start by saying I've eaten at more than a few Michelin Star restaurants in both the US and Europe. I guess one of them has to be the most disappointing, this was it. The food was over-salted, over-engineered, and just not that great. The service was fine, but not Michelin Star level. Oh, and it was very expensive for what it was. Sadly, I recommend looking further.

Fabulous meal with great service. the cocktail and snacks on the patio were lovely despite it being a little cold. Once inside the service was attentive and not intrusive. I went for paired wines and had some really good ones - and one or two that were a bit more unusual - just what you want from a sommelier, not just the expected options.

+10If you are ever in Valencia this is a must visit. This is a dining experience like no other. From the minute you walk into the door until your last bite you feel like you’re the only customers in the restaurant. The restaurant resides in an 1865 home which creates an atmosphere that is quaint, cozy and creative, Now for the food…..The flavors and presentation is exceptional. The variety of flavors were unlike anything I’ve ever had before. Also, there were so many plates I had to ask for a break before desserts. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Our second time in a few weeks in this wonderful place. One more time exciting, absolutely a place to keep in short list! Beautiful environment, relaxed, magnificent presentation and REALLY DELICIOUS food. And what a nice cellar!

Perhaps the best dining experience in Spain. The facility was beautiful and the service was excellent. The staff was confident and comfortable. The food was delicious, interesting and still comforting while being innovative. Unlike some expensive restaurants that are whisper quiet, La Salita had a great atmosphere that made all the guests comfortable.

The food, ambiance & service of La Salita de Begona Rodrigo in Valencia was outstanding! I have dined at many Michelin star restaurants in my life, but this one WAS THE BEST. The attention to detail, the hand crafted plateware, gorgeous stemware & surrounding atmosphere was incredible. Chef Begona & her team have a winner & we look forward to returning!

+7It ist a beautiful place. Outside in the Garden it is very cosy. Inside it is renovated,but they kept the old floors, doors, windows etc. - stunning! Lovely Decoration! Just The light is a bit bright (in the central room where we sat). Delicious food, presented extravagant! An absolut Must in Valencia!

La Salita de Begona Rodrigo is a fantastic find hidden away in a quiet street in Valencia. We were greeted and served by the most attentive and knowledgeable staff who ensured we were well informed about the dishes we were eating and that we wanted for nothing during our 10 course menu experience.
