Excellent service—our waiter was super helpful & friendly. Delicious food, particularly the salmon in orange crust with Parmesan & almonds, the vegetarian ceviche & the croquettes.

La Salvadora is one of our favorite restaurants in Valencia. We wondered in the first time and luckily they were able to seat us. The kindness of the staff and the amazing food are what keep bringing us back (always with a reservation). We love everything on the menu but a few unique dishes are my personal favorites: the smoked sardine with pepper jam and cherry tomato is a salty sweet combo that is a surprise and a delight. And the roasted salmon in crust of orange Parmesan is unlike anything I’ve ever had. It’s a truly beautiful dish. The beef cheeks and the bulls tail are my husband’s favorites. We always share a desert and they are all wonderful. The warm welcome we get when we arrive sets the tone for a lovely evening. This restaurant is a treasure.

My wife and I tried the €45 pp taster menu which was really good, I'm not sure if you would call it Tapas because most tapas that I've tried are all accompanied on bread, this was more than that. We tried different wines (sold by the glass) so we could have the right wine pairing with the right food. I think we must have had the owner serving us, he was very good and spoke very good English. What I particularly liked was that when I mentioned after the first course that I'm a bit sensitive to too much salt, he made sure the chief reduced the salt in my dishes. For me that makes all the difference in quality of the service. We now want to return to Valencia to revisit La Salvaora but bring our friends with us next time.

We hadn’t visited for a few years, but we won’t leave it so long next time. The welcome was warm, the food delicious and the wine very good quality. Our food was based on traditional Spanish dishes and still recognisable as such, but taken to a new level of sophistication without losing the basic character. Our servers were knowledgeable and friendly, giving us great advice with menu choices. We look forward to returning.

The 6 courses menu ( €40 ) was very tasty .A good composition.Great hospitality proved by the possibility to change courses because of allergie or health problem.The restaurant is small and has a good atmosphere.
