The tagliatelle al ragù we're absolutely amazing: a generous portion of fresh pasta, cooked at perfection, with lots of delicious ragu. The cotoletta alla bolognese was equally good. And the service was swift and the staff nice and kind. Couldn't have asked for a better place to show my international friends the true spirit of Bologna.

Our second time ....the Ragu is just great .All locals eating with you .Moderate to low expense ...we love the staff .It's unpretentious but lovely home cooked food ...its a.must go

We ordered the tortellini in brodo de capone, lasagna verde bolognesi & sliced beef with potatoes (tagliata di manzo) - all of us LOVED our dishes. Kind and attentive staff & atmosphere!

I selected base on reviews but actually it was not good at all. the food portion was too low and the quality was only acceptable not perfect. in the menu they wrote serving the food by butter and they served by tomato!!!! the coperto was too high, respect to their service
La Sberla BistrotHi, we're sorry to read such a low rating when everyone else is praising our cuisine. Can you help us understand what happened? Were you served tortelloni with tomato sauce instead of butter and sage? All you had to do was tell the waiter, and he would have remade the dish right away! Are the portions small? Our pastas range from 120 to 250 grams for the lasagna, the tagliata is 250 grams, the cotoletta bolognese is about 230...we haven't read anyone complaining about the quality of our dishes. If you email us, explaining what you didn't like, it might help us improve.

The staff was very accommodating- however we were very disappointed with the food. Americans- be warned. Fishy flavor and strange texture. Seasoned with an extreme amount of salt. Maybe it was flavors that we we are not used to- but was very unenjoyable
La Sberla Bistrothello we are sorry you did not like the fish lunch. what was served is all from the italian seas and the monkfish has a soft consistency that we enhanced with peppers and onions. about the salt if you considered it too much you could have immediately warned the waiting staff and the chefs would have remade the dishes immediately. I waited to reply to your review to see if among the other 40 diners present someone had complained, but it was only your table that wrote a bad review, despite having eaten the exact same dishes.

Started out as a very quiet meal, but then the restaurant turned a little bit rowdy. The restaurant seemed to have a bit of an identity crisis…Italian food but Spanish flags and deflated balloons. The food was ok, just nothing special and lacked a bit of flavour. Service was quite slow considering that initially there was only us there.
La Sberla Bistrothello, we are sorry that you did not have a good time. the place has had its own precise identity since it opened, but on Wednesday there was a Spanish party: it is normal that given the theme there were many Spanish people and their colors. the negative note of the rude girl at the next table we resolved by inviting her to leave the place as you noticed.

Sorry for the review, but the whole vibe of the restaurant was off. Firstly, the restaurant was not in the mood for hospitality, the staff was talking in tension with each other. Also there was confussion with the orders. Secondly, the door was open for the whole time with 14 degrees celsius outside, the staff did not close the door, they decided to turn on the AC heating instead. The worst part was the hair in the dish, which was compensated so that was fair. Overall I cannot understand how a restaurant with central location in almost peak season is not trying their best to operate in their highest standard. The whole dining experience does not reflect the rating of the restaurant on any platform. The vibe of the staff totally destroys the culinary part.
La Sberla BistrotWe're sorry to read such a bad opinion about our restaurant from which it appears you didn't like anything. for the door was open because it was 18 degrees outside and the blade of hot air served to create a comfortable environment with the windows open onto the street. there was no argument and I (the owner) was in the room together with a waitress. if the open door bothered you, all you had to do was ask and we would close it immediately, we are at the customer's service and not against it. However, what reassures us is that only you left such a review while the other 70 customers of the day left only positive reviews that day.

While the staff tried hard, the food was deeply disappointing. Flavorless, and in the case of one dish, a broth that was hard to distinguish from sea water. The best dish of the night was the tortellini but even that lacked any finesse or inspiration. Unfortunately, our local italian takeaways on the other side of the world bests this hands down, and that simply should not be the case.

We will still check your report on tortellini, even if it is unique.

Very good service. Shellfish pasta dish was nice, chicken as well. 1 star for food because they lied about the quality of the tuna. It wasn’t even close to what we ordered. Nice place but avoid the €25 frozen tuna!
La Sberla BistrotWe are sorry to receive such a low score for our tuna. on The Fork the name of the supplier cannot be mentioned (one of the most renowned that also serves starred). here in Italy, by law, the tuna must undergo a blast chilling cycle at -30 degrees to eliminate any bacterial load of this fish (which we do in the kitchen using a certified blast chilling system).. we are sorry that you mistook it for a low quality tuna.

The guinea fowl had almost no meat on it. The roasted vegetables were cold. The bread on the table was dry. However, the we still had a nice evening. I wouldn't spend much money at this place.

Very cozy place! We had tagliatelle ragu, which was really good and the service was also very nice. Friendly people and nice atmosphere. We also had a small discount.

Food was average, we went there to eat based on the great reviews but were disappointed. I had tuna tartar and pasta bolognese, my husband had seafood salad and spaghetti vongole. Out of everything we would really recommend the seafood salad- it was tender and nicely cooked.

We loved the vibe here, sitting outside, taking in the lively street atmosphere. The food was good although the service was a little bit erratic! But we were looked after by a lovely waiter who was new and very keen to look after us well. He found us an absolutely delicious wine and took real pride in providing genuine service - the highlight of our visit.

We only booked this restaurant because it looked like they were making an effort to cater for vegetarians. I realise that may be a misinterpretation on our part but their “rice cake on a bed of warm vegetables” was tasteless rice on a bed of warm lettuce. It was more like a side dish, not a main course costing €10. My seafood spaghetti was, however, very nice although I wasn’t expecting so many crab legs but they did supply the correct cutlery with which to eat it. I ordered a Spritz Aperol which was very unpleasant so I changed it for wine. The staff are very nice and obviously trying hard but we were disappointed that this was our last meal in Bologna.

The rice cake is made with one of the 4 best Italian rices, it is served on a bed of seared vegetables (carrots and fresh courgettes) and not lettuce. For the spritz we use the original aperol (when it can meet many similar aperol) and prosecco valdobbiadene docg, he drank it and also asked for a glass of wine; he could have asked to change it before drinking it by notifying the waiter (we would have changed it for free).We are really sorry that you did not like our place.

Absolutely terrible service for a special Christmas lunch menu. Huge portions of so-so food from a fixed price menu. The waiter forgot one of our courses, we had extremely long wait between courses while tables around us were served. We asked for our caffé 3 times before finally leaving without it and then they tried to convince us to take it standing at the counter with our coats on as we were leaving. The indifference from the wait staff ruined the experience but the food was not especially good either.

The waitress seated us but did not give us menus. After some time we asked for them. When the waiter took our order c19 45 he told us that the kitchen was closed for another 10 minutes. When our pasta arrived...one lasagne and one tagliatelle ragu..we were shocked at the minuscule portions. They were like starters!! The pasta and two glasses of wine and a still water cost 40€. We left hungry.
