6/10We had a reservation and it still took a really long time to be served. We had eaten here before and everything was amazing. I think the kitchen was overwhelmed from a group of 40 people. Our dish came out cold and needed to be remade. Over all it was fine but I was excited to share it with my sister and it was a disappointment.

10/10Great location - a lovely square in Trastevere that's not too quiet or too busy. We were looking for a restaurant with fish options and this was a good choice. We both had the tuna. Good service.

10/10We had a great table outside with perfect weather. Lorenzo, our server, was awesome and was able to make some honest suggestions. The carbonara and artichokes were perfect. All of the other food came quickly and was delicious. Thanks again to Lorenzo!

2.5/10One of the worst food experiences I ever had . The pasta was un-eatable, it both looked and tasted like shit..! And the worst part was the ignorance and behavior from the staff ! Whatever you do, don’t go there!

9/10Arrived for our reservation and were promptly greeted by our host who saw us to our table. Food was delicious, enjoyed a fresh shaving of truffle on my ravioli, some excellent wine and beer, and delicious homemade bread.

10/10Really nice varied menu, all the dishes we ordered were perfectly cooked. We sat outside, there was a heater above the table, which took the edge off. Waiting staff were very attentive and spoke good English and could explain the menu. Booking process was very easy.

Was the most enjoyable meal of our trip and a must visit in Rome, service was immaculate and the food was some of the nicest I had ever tasted, the staff were informative helped us choose a wine best suited to our food and let us choose where we wanted to sit inside or out and we chose outside but were not cold thanks to the heat lamps so we could enjoy the ambiance of trasterve with our meal, ten out of ten best place I have visited in Rome

4/10The server brought the 2nd course before the appetizers, then tried to bring the pasta with the appetizers. When we said something about it the server broke into a loud rebuttal about how we disrespected him. The “homemade” ravioli was dried out. When they brought the fish for the 2nd time, the side dish of the spinach was cold.We have dined in this restaurant many times over the years and after last night’s experience we will not return

10/10The service was warm and cordial. The quality of the bread, the ingredients and the cooking were excellent. The wine list was well organized and the offering was wide and interesting. The place was clean. The location was lively. We had a wonderful lunch at La Scala in Trastevere.

I had a reservation, and upon arrival waited in a queue of people waiting to be seated. There was an obvious queue forming, however no attendant was coming to check so I waited patiently in this queue in order of the time that we arrived, again, even though I had a reservation. A group of American tourists proceeded to storm right past the entire line of people waiting all the way to the front and found an attendant, and they were seated immediately!! which was disappointing because there was a queue of people waiting— even some that HAD A RESERVATION— like myself. I felt that the staff did not care about order or reservations and it was unfortunate.

5.5/10Negronis were great, but the food arrived so soon after that we couldn't finish them. Then we ordered wine for the food but it took quite a while. Servers had good disposition but were disorganized and not on track with each other for timings. The parmigiana was served cold in the middle, was sent back to the kitchen and then took long to come back. The carbonara was ok, the amatriciana was excellent. When the main courses arrived all of our first course plates still hadn't been cleared so the server expected us to hold everything in the air while she placed the new dishes down. Scarola was very oily and the gnocchi with tuna was very underwhelming. The sauce was too heavy for the dish, the tuna was overcooked and dry. I had high hopes because of the good reviews but this was truly a disappointment. The servers was and the Negronis were the best thing going for this place.
