The restaurant is in a medievil cellar below a former Palazzo which now houses the museo anticho and the municipio di Genga. It cannot get any more romantic and atmospheric. The food was excellent. The service was also very good even if the proprietor could crack a friendly smile every once in a while.

Exceptionally tasty food, types of preparations different from standard, and some of the best we've had recently in Italy. Saddle of veal, cinghiale cacciatore e.g. Excellent warm service and decor alongside river.
